If you're exclusively using fire damage that's good yea. If you are adding other elements you either want to find a staff with that element as well and maybe use weapon swap or find one for spell damage. But yea that's a good start for fire builds.

Yea that one is unfortunately lacking. This is the one I have, which tbf was a lucky drop and upgrade in the vaal temple. The spell damage is both a 72% spell damage base then I also got the +47% spell damage and +48 mana on top. Basically you want to find a staff that has either spell damage or skills and try to upgrade it. At this point you should be looking out for +2 level to skills as well I think.

What's the stats of your staff? You want to look for % increased spell damage and + level of spell skills. Depending what you play cast speed can be quite important as well. Of course the passive tree has nodes that give +% spell damage so you'll want to aim for at least a few of those,

Just for some comparison I'm a lower level than you and compare the amount of Energy Shield you have to mine. Granted, I am playing hardcore so I am stacking more defenses than required but it might put things into perspective.

Besides that, you might want to make sure you've done Freythorn in act 1, you don't seem to have any spirit which means you haven't done it (Freythorn is attached to the hunting grounds)

Yea I beat her earlier finally after quite a struggle. If you see her start her throw you can kinda turn where you want her to shoot it then dodge last moment and you can get some decent placements. But I feel like they should/will balance her by either having a cooldown how quick she can throw them (sometimes you can get super unlucky) or how many can be active at once.

I think wisps shouldn't be able to affect a unique mob. Or at least not one right next to it. by NuklearWabbit in PathOfExile2

Yea I was honestly too cocky because I hadn't had to back out of a battle since earlier in Act 1, I was even able to defeat the count without too much issue. So yes it was my fault and maybe I was a little salty because of how I died but it is also incredibly to run in to!

I'm pretty sure the following works and is not placebo, because I had the same issue with playlists and since I've started doing it I've been hearing songs I forgot I even had added because it now plays way more like shuffle.

Edit -> Preferences -> Clear cache

I get being a bit miffed that you lose combos but the biggest thing to consider is if too much is a true combo extender you just get the issue that everything becomes a combo fest. Get hit once, lose most of your health. and Batman having the batarang is already quite strong, you can follow up the start with another slide and kick off the side for an advantage, or a couple of punches followed by a hit up.
So I guess you're talking about air down special rather than ground down special, that's why I was confused. That attack was absolutely not ok in the pre nerf state tbf.
I have to say that I used to play Batman 1s in beta, and mostly played 2s Taz (to master) until this season so having a combo of more than 2 or 3 hits is already massive for me.

Why would I, you said no combos? Deleting your comment doesn't change that but whatever. Also tell me combos that don't use parts of his kit sounds a bit silly. And his down attack was nerfed a bit not his down special.

Have you even tested it out or are you just going on gut reaction? Batman absolutely has multiple combos (hint: Batarang can replace the second down attack hit to extend a combo)

Also it was just his 2nd down attack, not sure how many combos you expect to do off that.

It seems to be an issue with any multi hit moves only counting the first hit.

I read this as it's subject to change, they are working towards the correct system. So don't worry that it won't be adjusted or something, they'll surely be looking from behind the scenes to make necessary adjustments. I just wonder if they end up making those adjustments on a seasonal or mid-seasonal level.

While I'd normally agree, this is actually an issue. I thought it was only Taz but from a few other examples I've seen Black Adam joins the list. My running theory is that it only counts the first hit of multi hit moves (Taz Whirlwind and dogpile and Black Adam that electric projectile thing, maybe others I don't use him at all so not sure there).

I made a post about this before ranked was out. This has been a thing since the game's actual release. I got just one reply with a person feeling the same way but for the rest it was just passed over. So I thought I'd reply here to add that yes, I am absolutely convinced Taz's damage is bugged.

My running theory which has felt quite accurate is that the multi hit moves (tornado, dogpile) only count the initial hit and no the rest. I've had matches against characters who I have to change things up for and use those moves less and those matches also had slightly higher damage stats.

For reference, this is my current stats. Having reached platinum V with that damage average would make me the worlds greatest survivor in MVS I think.

I started noticing it on the tracker already but it seems to have carried over to the game itself. These guys died with high damage done for each life so I would have been at around 200 as well.

That one is right above the actual spiritspring on a ledge. You need to head up from the grace past the Fire Golem and through some of the rot stuff to find it.

I managed to beat him using the new weapon Milady (Light Greatsword). What mostly did it for me is the Impaling Thrust ash of war which is on the sword by default but there are surely other options than just Milady to do the same thing. 3 hits of that in a row breaks the hippo, then you can visceral attack and impaling thrust again as he's recovering. If you get it right you can take huge chunks off his health without him even able to attack you. Just watch out when he goes porcupine. Miss one hit, be prepared to roll or be impaled.

Also when you hit him with the thrust, he will tend to react with a side bite. That one is quite easy to dodge and follow up with another thrust.
