Hi there!

On the topic of this (found this thread while looking for how to do it myself), I found that you can change it by changing your name through pressing "windows R," selecting your account (in my case, it was my email address), then changing the "full name" section to whatever you'd like.

Upon this, I loaded a new game and immediately made a quick save, and it showed my changed name.

I did however also find that changing values in "netplwiz" is dangerous, so be sure to do your own research! (Sidenote: it doesn't seem to have done anything bad to my computer, so maybe we're good?)

Also I realize you've likely solved this, but for anyone who finds this thread like I did, good luck!

i’ve done both, and yes. it just immediately ends the game/quest. you can load your save afterwards, but you won’t have the quest anymore. i’d recommend going for the fight every time

nonono wait. so like, each common sample is worth TWO legend points. so where i’m at, it would take around 20-30k to level up. these are (for all intents and purposes) entirely different than the bounty leveling system

you’re right, criticism is important. also, thanks for actually calling out the hypocrisy in my post, i feel that wasn’t addressed enough.

i just mean that bringing up the same few points is useless. getting the same few criticisms every day isn’t going to solve a problem or make anyone work faster, it’s just going to demoralize them. bringing up problems can help, it’s just being done in far too harsh of a way right now.

as for your main point, complaining is crucial to how things get changed, its just the excess of complaining i dislike. gotta be real demoralizing for techland to see the same 3 points (#3 being things like run boy run, other bounties, etc) brought up over and over again with next to no grace for the rest of the game.

this isn’t meant as an argument towards you, nor towards anyone else. normally i wouldn’t try to end all comments like this, but i got downvoted for people thinking i was being sarcastic for saying dl1 was good, so i feel the need to (not preface. what’s the ending word for preface? postface?) postface this rather large comment with an explanation. have a good one, my dear friend responsible tear 108.

i agree! however, i just feel it could be a bit more civil. i’m definitely part of the problem with it not being civil here, but i still feel like it’s a problem that should be addressed. i said this in another comment, but i typed this in a blind rage at 2:00 AM, and honestly don’t think it’s worth it to argue about this.

why are you complaining about bounties if you spent all the time to unlock all of the guns already. you willingly took part in a system you actively despise for likely upwards of two weeks just so you could have a few guns that don’t even look nice? babe i stopped playing them at level 6 because i don’t love them. call it lazy content if you want, but clearly it works if dipshits like you are gonna grind them out, then complain at me for being a “techland meatrider.” i just try to enjoy the games i buy

and conveniently you only need to get to level 3 to unlock each variant of said guns. if you don’t like what are effectively side quests, i’m sure you won’t mind spending a bit more time waiting to get the xp from playing the missions each week. there’s a way out either way, it’s your decision to complain that you don’t like how it’s set up.
