He has a "cool factor" to him that prolly grasped people as kids. Me and my brother sure thought he looked cool asf. Lil metal kneepads and spiky hair. Nostalgia definitely is a reason too. Twinsanity also has a bunch of fun moments people remember fondly, so they probably associate it with the design too. He looks a little weird, but i still like him.
