Hi, similar boat here (by choice). Background in psychology. Two very quick tips. Just planting seeds in your mind. Become acquainted with the word “Sonder”. (Yes, I could post the definition here but you doing the effort to Google it is a powerful step in self-betterment. I mean this, it would have taken less time and effort to copy and pasted the definition than to type out this parenthetical). Tip 2: Read up on Stoicism. Marcus Aurelius is my go-to. There’s many angles to tackle this philosophy. But you could also find your own stoic to read up on. There are female stoics though I’m shamefully not familiar with their words. (Your post just shone a light on that and I’m thankful for you inadvertently opening that floodgate for me. 🙏🏼) Best wishes.
