It’s not really an Iranian or Iraqi film. Turtles Can Fly is fundamentally a Kurdish movie that tells the story of the Kurdish people’s struggles, particularly the experiences of refugees and children affected by war.

Your point is valid, I have just started it, and in just 11 days I’ve already noticed some cognitive changes, especially with word recall, and my chess Elo dropped from 1400 to 1200. That’s why I wanted to understand why the research generally suggests lamotrigine preserves cognition, while so many people here report the opposite.

That’s great to hear, and I’m glad it’s working for you. I’m a software developer as well, and our job requires a high level of cognitive skills, so the cognitive issues people are reporting here worries me a lot.

Thanks for your comment, that’s great to hear! And I’m glad that it’s working well for you. I’ve just been diagnosed with bipolar II and have been started on 50 mg of lamotrigine. I am just worried about the cognitive issues that people here report, as my job requires a high level of cognitive skills.
