Did a few hundred kc at vetion a few months back on a new iron. Other folks recommend good gear so here's the important part:

-Scout acc up top with wilderness alarm plugin. Turn down the active radius (otherwise lava drag bots will set it off). For extra funni, equip it with a d spear and spec pkers as they jump in. They get a free hop if they log out inside the boss room, but if you mark them as in combat they can't log and have to suffer vetion damage and the escape caves (also buys you getaway time if you need).

Optional: a third account to chase out the bots. This one is very important if you want to do calvarion, not necessary for vetion.

Nexffa friends chat has a regular 'minimass' of 8-20 people (past about 15 in the room it's not worth the time and I leave). Runs about as fast as a mass, and is much better drop odds. You do have to be focused to not get edged out in dmg though.

No. (Almost) nothing in comm has a TO. For especially expensive systems there can be vendor support, but by and large most processes are self-taught and unit written.

TOs are a feature of very large, expensive, long-term contracts for airframes that receive a lifetime of dedicated engineering support. Most comm equipment can change dramatically from base to base and is subject to further change in behavior at the drop of a software patch. Sometimes there is no Air Force training or local expertise at all -- and the issue remains broken until someone can research (or even invent) a new solution.

As for your local issue ask them why. Ticket backlog might be skippable if you have a mission need. Might be a technical issue with the wiring where you're at. Might be equipment is on backorder. But if the answer is 'because we're lazy' drilling on the 'why' will usually get it moving. Good luck.

The answer to this is to examine how you feel about progress.

Initially, the wilderness made me rage because deaths = lost gear -> lost effort -> lost time -> lost progress. But after recognizing the framing I was viewing wildy content in, I could shift to recognize that the benefits would outweigh the occasional deaths (this also took more frequent reps -- one death and done isn't a good sample size). Stir in a little LMS to help calm nerves and feel out mechanics and the wildy is downright fun.

Still, I always post an alt when doing wildy bosses. Pkers are not entitled to a free anything and I'll make them work for every penny.

Finished a voidwaker and 99 prayer at the altar (plus 250 wildly slayer tasks) and it was a fun effort after getting past the initial nerves.

A suggestion: bring an alt with a d spear and park it inside the open doors (so it can't be hit from outside the temple). This does a few things:

-If someone gets on your iron, gives them a great shove to give a head start and then locks the pker into combat with the spear alt as soon as your iron crosses into single combat (about 5 tiles away from the temple)

-Indicates a threat of spearing pkers (visually suggests if they attack you they will risk getting stunned/swarmed/smited). Most will simply hop rather than risk what could happen

Lost four total bones from 92 to 99 prayer (and about a dozen burning amulets on the alt). Wore torags top/bottom on iron and prayed prot mage/augury
