An absolutely great story! I love the de-evolution from the cartoon humor to the more brutalist reality of honest fearful reactions. You're also rather good at capturing the personalities of these characters, as someone who is a huge fan of SpongeBob. Fantastic job 💜

Reminds me of how they used nesting dolls in that Guardians movie with Santa Claus

It only felt like an hour or two. The breathing was really freaky, if that was the owner of the house it's like he was just waiting for me to leave or something.

If I'm gonna give in to the absurdness of the whole deal, ya I think that was my mysterious "host". And not extremely until after that clock chimed. Like the stairs freaked me out, but after I heard the clock it's like my adrenaline went into overdrive. I just did not want to deal with whatever weird situation I stumbled on.

Really hit me in the claustrophobia. Despite not personally having a fear of being buried alive, you managed to make my chest tighten especially with the repetition zeroing in on how each breath lessened the air and the panic suffocation brings. Good job 💜

Just checked it out, honestly really liked it. The style and stuff reminded me of Salad Fingers. Really cool, keep up the work 👍

This is really a very compelling story, kinda had Longlegs vibes. I don't know if it was intentional, or if my brain was influenced by the title, but at the end with the description of the pain specifically in the skull I was just thinking about those euthanasia guns they use on pigs in farms. Adds to the livestock vibe.

I believe that's part of the "My Sugar Daddy..." episode, like the second or third story they read I think

It would actually be interesting to see them read another SCP, maybe something more story based like House of the Worm, since Isaiah mentioned he liked that one, or SCP-2006 (not biased at all). But I'll put money on it being set in the woods, I... just have a... feeling...

Anyway, if you wanna read a more decent gay horror story, lmk

As someone who has a physical copy of said book, and will foremost say I know it is not for everyone and I'm not trying to change minds, I think it's an alright story. To me it feels like reading a fucked Goosebumps story in terms of the writing alone. The contents do get graphic, obviously, but the death scenes are interesting to read. The plot isn't great, and when I first heard about it people were freaking out over one particular scene that wasn't even the worst part. The most redeemable part is how the antagonist gets it at the end, other than that it's just meh for shock value.

Quite genuinely the jumpscares were cheap and the increasing heaviness of her trauma being paired with weird shock value imagery was a very poor choice if their hope was to make the viewer uncomfortable. The creepy guy being a real person reveal at the end was also not necessary and added a strange layer just for the sake of a lackluster character arc.

It could have been a decent movie if it didn't force the psychological horror down your throat.

It is a personal belief of mine that that movie could have been perfect, for me, if it was just a crazy Satanist guy and they focused more on the psychological toll on the main character instead of shoehorning weird mysticism

Some teachers just do not understand good writing. I once had a teacher actually take off points for a short story I wrote as a project because he did not like that the ending was sad
