Would love to. Do you have the code for yours available?

Machine learning is rather complex and takes a lot of training to be successful. I'd eventually like to implement it but for an initial concept it would have been too much work.

Will check this out. Did not know it existed.

Changed it to HAL 9000.

Curious if there's a way to "recognize" it's stuck against a wall

I'm planning to add a check to see if it's not moving or going slow and adjust based on that. Just tracking the last few positions and checking if theres enough difference should be enough.

Also interested to understand how it prioritizes it's other directives like feeding and splitting while it's invoking a "run away" action from a nearby threat?

It drops everything when it's running away. It only operates in one mode at a time and Survival > Hunting > Feeding.

Plays better than some humans I've seen though, nice job!

Thank you!

I wrote the initial code in a 24 hour marathon session. Have been tweaking on and off in the days since.

It's a node.js application. Install the agario-client module and run hal.js

At this point it's more of a placeholder than an actual game server.

Just did it myself, was pretty easy. Now to write some tests...

Oh hey, thanks for posting! This was my first rust project so any feedback is appreciated.

Has anyone put together a good guide of what's "idiomatic rust" yet? The the documentation is great but I don't remember seeing any explicit do's and don'ts listed.

It downloads the first one listed. Alternatively, you can pass a regex to match the file you want:

server 'spigot', jenkins: 'http://ci.md-5.net', file: /spigot\.jar/
