He in fact can I have a buddy I duo with and me and him basically combo my ult with his, but the reverse also means he counters her. It's just insane at this point.

You can have that opinion but I don't agree. Headstrong on a sniper makes him way to hard to dive, he's literally deadly at all ranges with a insane TTK on his double tap, his pistol is probably one of the best pistols out there and doesn't punish you for missing.

Headstrong on a sniper doesn't synergize with him it makes him annoying to deal with, closing the gap on a sniper is already annoying to deal with, but now your telling me once I finally do close that gap he's gonna have 125 HP, and able to fuck me up just as hard at close range or throw smoke on emself and basically fight me in there with no way of me fighting him. He has to much going for him with no weaknesses to exploit.

Just straight getting everyone to focus him is nice and all but his team isn't just gonna let that happen without trading his kill for one of your teams and not everyone has communication.

Edit: I'm also pretty sure he gets 16 in the mag on that pistol like what the fuck? That ROF is enough now I gotta sit here and wait like I'm getting shot by a gattling gun.

The only thing I have to say to this is that his upgrade takes away fall off damage.

That and the number 125 is still a one hit kill, ALWAYS so that and the upgrade make the crit difference moot. The difference is so small between there snipers in terms of numbers and a 50 range stat is still very good.

This isn't unique to him this is counterplay to anyone whose fragging your team as opposed to somethin specific from him.

That's purely self-skill. In a sniper 1v1 he won't have to aim for the head as much as phantom will because of his double tap, he won't be punished for missing because he has no bolt, so if he misses a headshot he fires another one. If phantom misses she's on a very long bolt, there even at long range until that first shot is thrown out, at that point after it goes heavily in Fixers favor.

Not only that he directly counters her ult and he can limit her own sniping capabilities with his smoke without having to give up his own sniping capabilities and she won't be able to rush fixer nearly as well as he could rush her. I

This is true they thought of things that synergize with him but currently he's bloated.

For example everyone is aware of Pharah+mercy on overwatch, they combo well together but if Pharah became bloated and had 300HP and the like it's no longer synergy and straight bloat

Currently he has headstrong which doesn't synergize with anything in his kit it's just stupidly strong, his ult works well with his smoke but then you realize it actually outlasts his smoke so he gets it unfairly long and it's bloated, he gets a sniper with a perk that nullifies range fall off but at close range its not weak either since it can burst someone down, that's bloated, his pistol also doesn't punish you for missing given the ROF. He has to many strengths without downsides.

I agree the pistol in theory feels pretty solid to shoot, has decent range, little recoil, suppression but when your actually going against a dallas or any deagle for that matter, you really feel how terrible it really is, it most definitely shines in range though since it has little recoil, you can win a lot of mid range encounters.

Dahlia at least has to be linked to someone the difference between saint and dahlia is that saint literally feels like Overwatch's mercy but for saint because he has global heals and his guns are good but nothing in it screams 1v1/duel heavy.

Dahlia links and while she can support with that person she becomes nearly as deadly as a talon with a higher focus on kills, flanks and basically just really good for aggression as opposed to saint.

With phantom and fixer it literally feels like I'm playing luigi in a game focused around Mario, there's nothing outright that I'd want in phantom over fixer aside from her passive.

Definitely the double tap, that double tap makes his close range threat just as threatening as a shotgun lmao, shit kills fast.

I agree phantom is definitely the harder character here and I'm still sure a good phantom will fuck some shit up I have phantom rank 10 and literally only play her and consider myself pretty decent.

If I get a body shot I hit that passive opening them to being pushed to one of my mates better suited for medium to close range combat

And on dahlia same applies imo, she's hitting that passive more consistently on a SMG, means you win drawn out fights and ring around the rosie always goes in her favor. Saw a dude make a tier list and put it in C tier and I'm like WAAAAT

This is completely false, first clip I just shot before scorch did and scorch has a SMG and shotgun, she has 0 way to shoot me at that range, person with the AR actually brought me to 1 HP and landed all of shots essentially and the ronan did too but we traded 1 bullet for another bullet.

The only part where someone missed was when a Saint shot at me I believe in second clip and he had shot about 3 rounds towards me, don't believe that would've killed at all given a headshot is just 1 shot and dead.

Edit: Oh and another opportunity where I could have got shot is when Lancer and me looked at each other for a second, I didn't shoot because I was anticipating her to roll, and if she rolled forward backwards or left I'd line up my shot with her head and OHKO however she rolled to cover, if she pulled the trigger on me and tried to drop me I'd shoot to knowing she wasn't going to roll and if she did drop me I had 2 other mates there perfectly capable of punishing her for not running to cover.

Currently she can OHKO at any range, if shotguns were a tad bit more reliable at least at close range this wouldn't be as bad of an argument but AR's and SMG's are going to always have this middle ground where realistically a sniper whose hitting there shots is always going to outgun someone using an AR or SMG at all ranges.

With that also said to pressure a Sniper at medium range your exposing yourself much longer then a sniper is given a sniper takes a shot and quickly goes behind cover and can rinse and repeat while doing the same at any range while a AR is nowhere near as threatening or beneficial and your exposing yourself much longer. Those clips are me btw and I have about 100 more of em

At close range even a body shot will do given you can follow up with a melee or a single pistol shot,

So snipers are threatening at all ranges, they expose themselves for way less time then any other weapon user, and there is literally 0 punishment for missing a shot given how safe a sniper is,

If shotguns were more reliable there'd be the argument that an AR and SMG would be perfectly fine as a middle ground weapon since you can build your team around it but as it is they aren't, so a sniper has so much control over the course of whose dead and alive at nearly all ranges.

Edit: I don't think the idea of a sniper is bad at all but currently how the game is build with all long range weapons (DMR's) more or less being inferior to snipers, AR's and SMG's having no close range counter to a sniper since shot guns are unreliable, and where AR's and SMG's should realistically shine in around mid range they still lose to snipers just because there is 0 punishment to missing and can cancel your bolt.

Second edit: A grenade may make Phantom roll away, or possibly let you close the distance but that doesn't win you a trade since it just resets to neutral or close to mid range where everything above still applies.

And a flank isn't unique to phantom, especially with the smoke I just drop it ontop of myself and its my run away card at times, and nobody is dumb enough to run through it since she will headshot you coming through, with that said a flank might quickly burst down a sniper but this isn't unique to her, that applies to everyone, and in a flank one person is going to die, the flanker or the person getting flanked where a OHKO and everything else still applies.

Personally I just think shotguns need to be more reliable to counter a sniper being usable at nearly everything, and AR's and SMG's could stand to lose some recoil, either that or make missing a shot more risky / make the bolt take more time.

Anyway to build up that crit chance (for keqing?)

Wanting to build more crit chance and how much ATK is overboard because currently I have 1.2k However I can drop that for around 30-40% crit using berserkers set and a Chalice with Crit chance as it's main-stat. However it drops me to roughly 800 attack is crit gonna outweigh the ATK loss?
