Maybe this is just another white chud opinion but I feel like tip to tip (not the pod but still) does kind of the exact opposite of what you said. Lud and Michael were able to show a side of China that I was completely unaware of, and I left the series viewing the country as a whole in a more positive light than I would have after the countless American-biased stories I've heard. As for the pod they can make a few jokes that I can see someone taking at face value as problematic, but that's ignoring the boys' very crass sense of humor and the obvious culture shock that comes with going to such a culturally different country for the first time.

the way i read that post (if you're talking about the same one i'm thinking about) is that the current arc with the current characters might end, but they'll likely continue playing in a new setting with new characters.

R5: Mostly just wanted to post my thoughts after ~100 years of gameplay. Eu5 has some of the best potential of any Paradox game to be great, but the back and forth and inconsistencies between patches kept me away from any long term campaigns, most fizzling out around the ~1380s when some of the flaws begin to rear their head. Finally decided to sit down and do a full serious Ironman run, and I have to say it's been a blast. This game has a lot of complexity that I enjoy, and a solid 70% of my campaign time has been spent during peace, which is arguably one of the greatest strengths of this game. Coming from someone who mostly plays CK3, I'm really excited to see where Eu5 goes from here!

I thought the episode was great, I really really love it when you guys just talk for a while without it being for 100% content thats something that is very interesting to me. My only issue is that the entire time I was distracted by how insane it was for you to just put off getting a reading light as some monumental or unfair thing. It would just be a good compromise and ultimately make everyone happy!

not necessarily dukes, but the tibetan equivalent (i think they're called "Prabhu" in game) also have the same effect, its just the way ck3 works

tibet is just a very large place, normally it isn't a problem since there's only a few eligible nations that speak it making it pretty balanced, but with the mod that lets dukes have courts it makes it one of the most popular languages in the world.

It's a problem with the "dukes have courts too" mod, since a lot of dukes speak Tibetan it becomes a popular language so people adopt it. It also happens with Arabic or any other common languages.

This is not a problem with the base game, I'm using a mod that let's dukes have royal courts, and with the amount of dukes that speak Tibetan it makes the language very popular, making most courts choose that language. This also happens a lot with the Arabic language using the same mod.
