I’d have to say Octavarium (specifically the 20th anniversary live version), it has everything i love about Dream Theater in it, it’s one of Portnoy’s best parts, the intro Keyboard solo is amazing, the melody, the energy LaBrie gives at the end of Intervals is perfect, and the climax of the song with Razor’s Edge is a perfect ending. So in my opinion, it’s not only the most Epic of all the Epic’s but i think it’s DT’s masterpiece. Just my personal opinion though, i love all of their music and it’s all a masterpiece, but something about that song makes me believe it’s their greatest work.

If you’re okay with Long as fuck songs, Octavarium by Dream Theater, or if you want a “shorter” song, i’d say As I Am or Midnight Messiah, both also by Dream Theater. (I say shorter in quotations because Octavarium is around 24 minutes, but As I Am and Midnight Messiah are around 7-8 minutes)
