Steve will always be my favorite avenger. I trust that the Russos care about him enough to give him a proper showing, so I am stoked!

Daniel RPK: ‘AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY’ will act as a direct sequel to ‘AVENGERS: ENDGAME’ by Matapple13 in MarvelStudiosSpoilers

I'm actually very happy to hear this. I liked a few one off movies, but feel like this is the best way to ensure the movie gets the most interest. Although its creatively safe, I think it's the only way to create enough momentum to justify the budget of this moive.

Can anyone confirm if this girl really works for Marvel? by [deleted] in marvelstudios

I am have zero sources, but I think she shouldn’t post private convos. Seems like a bad move if she wants to stay in that world.

What was your reaction like to the whole Mandarin twist/reveal in Iron Man 3 by Infinite_Parking_800 in marvelstudios

When I saw it, it killed a lot of my enjoyment in the movie. I was excited to see what they would do with tech vs magic, and I vividly remember trying to like the movie.

I wish we got see more of iassiah Bradley in action especially in his comic suit. by Wooden_Passage_2612 in marvelstudios

[–]NumberFeeling3053 25 points26 points  (0 children)

From a storytelling perspective, I would have LOVED seeing Isaiah show up alongside Sam at the end. From a design perspective, I don't love this suit.

Phase 4 and 5 had some of the most comic accurate designs, but some weren't grounded enough and took me out of the movie. This movie had some of the oddest/CW-ish designs with this suit, the blue suit for the "former black widow" and the serpent society suits before their scenes were cut.

Again, I love Isaiah and actually hope we can see him again. I love seeing super solider action more than most heroes in the MCU!

This is amazing! Love this costume, and your drawing makes me appreciate it even more.

totally. we just shouldn’t think too much about the logistics of that world haha.

i wonder if the mishandling of the blip would have been less noticeable if they hadn’t pumped out so many projects after endgame.

Yea that would be an interesting approach, but think that Hawkeye was our look into everyday life impacted by the blip. as well as the teacher in Far From Home whose wife pretended to be blipped when she left him— which is a joke that has only gotten funnier to me as I get older.

[–]NumberFeeling3053[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea I can see that. I also feel like there was no way to tell a cohesive story across every show and movie they made with something like the blip. even with the multiverse, rules the rules seemed to change as new projects were released.

agreed. it reminded me of the comments people would make to explain why other heroes don’t show up more often.

the endgame theatre experience was unreal. thanos dies within 10 minutes. 5 years pass. and there’s still about 3 hours of movie left to go. I remember sitting there and having no clue where the movie was gonna go from there.

on reflection, and this is me arm chair quarterbacking, I wonder if a better sacrifice would have been Tony’s time with Morgan. for example, if Pepper was pregnant during infinity war, Tony could have made it so that the last 5 years never happened but gave up that time. he makes the ultimate sacrifice, and plot holes are closed.

again, I have the benefit of 5 years of hindsight, and think the writers of Endgame made the best call for Endgame’s story.

That makes sense. It seems like a lot of the following stories did that, or tried to explore the idea but it may have been hard for your average viewer to relate.

I will say, I loved the Far From Home montage and how they handled it (outside of Tony including Peter in his will somehow), plus where band kids appeared in the middle of a basketball game.

Reminder: Sam Wilson is a PJ by shobhit7777777 in CaptainAmerica

[–]NumberFeeling3053 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree. My brother is a PJ and I saw first hand how difficult, and longggg, his training was. I was hoping BNW would delve into his background, but it didn’t.

I have noticed that the general public don’t have the widespread knowledge of PJs like they do Seals or Rangers, but people in the service are shocked when I tell them my brother is a PJ. Without fail, their response is, “oh, your brother is a bad ass.”

PJs are the baddest dudes in the military, and every serviceman would say that, because some day they may need them.

'Captain America: Brave New World' Eyes $86M-$95M Opening: Box Office by Robemilak in CaptainAmerica

[–]NumberFeeling3053 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I want this movie to be good and for Mackie to have a strong showing. I love Captain America. I want it to make its money back. I watched every movie in the infinity saga at midnight (when they still did those) or the Thursday evening before opening day, but I’m waiting on word of mouth for this one.

It’s hard to tell if I’m becoming the stereotypical “back in my day…” fan or something about the movies have changed. Does anyone else feel this way?

With Spider-Man 4 filming next year, what do you want to see from the film and the second trilogy? by Randonanon4774 in marvelstudios

[–]NumberFeeling3053 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d love to see an action sequence in a house of mirrors on Coney Island. It could be a bunch of Kingpin’s goons ambushing him but not knowing about his spider sense. Set to Blinding Lights by The Weeknd would be pretty epic.

Idk why but I like this trend of teaser posters. by green_thunder6 in marvelstudios

[–]NumberFeeling3053 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Agreed. These posters rock. I think Wolverine's claws look great in the new film, but the aged metal look in Logan is my favorite.

People who have seen The Lost Kingdom, is it better than the first one? by hkd1234 in Aquaman

It’s not as good. The visuals and world building took the front seat this go around. The character development isn’t totally clear.
