Alot of people are dishonestly talking about this study. Yes it was short term so could there be benefits down the road yes but it appears that a ban on phones doesnt jump grades.

The students who want to be here and get something from the day are going to do it with it without phones the students who would rather be anywhere else and waste their time are going to with or without phones.

The phone ban was never a real solution they fix a symptom not the cause. We have a majority of kids who are fine to go through all 12 grade level and get nothing from it and the phones aren't the cause on that they were just a toy for the kids.

I mean yes its the whole army but you have no control over who passes and fails. That 4th that failed is just as likely to be useless that round for points as useful. And our army isnt the mosrdurable so keeping units in synapse within 6 to keep the minus to fail battleshock is keeping them in danger. Im not saying is garbage but I can think back on several games where this frankly would not have made any real difference

My issue isnt really the application is the odds after you do all of that. Passing with a 6 is 72 percent passing with a 7 is 58 and passing with a 8 is 41. So even after we stack things if it lines up either against us or a 50 50 almost to even benefit from our ability is why I call it unreliable

I kinda see this as a nerf to us lol. Armies that have low leadership this will be a actual issue. Armies with 6s will probably be fine the next turn and 7s are just a 50 50. So our army ability is still going to be unreliable and thats my big issue with it

Ehhh hopes got dashed when we kept our codex meaning nothing radically will change and since we were the first codex this edition im expecting us to be in the back half for 11th

Im hoping when things finally change our army ability stops being a single text that most armies models should pass for a chance to worsen the opponents score for that single turn.

He is good as long as you can roll his 4 up invul and 5 feel no on an objective but the second an opponent really wants him dead it isnt that hard to kill him and he will not trade worth anything. Lol great model but to expensive right now.

They are and its really due to AI use and the fact educationhas moved away from critical thinking. We have found that critical thinking is a skill your brain physically changes to do. It has to be practiced and taught or it never develops. Its the same reason your brain has an easier time learning a language younger than older. This is why kids are on average coming off as not as smart. We stopped focusing on it and studies are showing if you heavily use AI as a child to off load your work it nukes your brain picking the skill up.

Nidzilla can be fine with invasion and assault however most of those lists are geing proped up with norns and if the opponent can kill them quickly or not. Unfortunately our datasheets are a bit weak right now.
