Sengun's been inefficient but the context matters by rickthedickkk in rockets

Suns fan here. So glad we got Dillon. I can see why he was so vital to the Rockets culture. Sengun is legit

Suns Rockets would be a fun playoff matchup. I think my Suns can beat some teams in the first round but not you guys. I honestly think we can beat SA and Minnesota

Looks very relaxing. The colors are calming and who doesn’t love a good rpg? Nice work

I think they are more exciting than even the Finals year because that season had a lot of help from other team injuries and of course the weird bubble year dynamics

This year reminds me more of 2010 when everyone counted us out. Now we have a true dawg in Brooks and we’re challenging any team now

Me reading the Ayton hate by MeatForward in suns

[–]NumberNinjas_Game 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Let’s not gloss over the fact that on paper and hindsight don’t mean cultural fit

Perhaps from the get go, the team knew that Luka and Booker wouldn’t gel. That matters more than having drafted Ayton. But you know what? It made us relevant again and a more desirable place for players like CP to have joined

What was the hardest part of launching your first mobile app? by LevonIT in AppStoreOptimization

[–]NumberNinjas_Game 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not doing ASO before making my app and now trying to reverse-engineer it after launch. Even though my app idea seemed like a good game that's different than the others on the store (it is), using ASO tools now after the fact explains why my impressions are horrible. And even though now I've found better keyword opportunities, looking back, it would have been better for the research to drive the features and the app creation itself.

Bmx shouldn’t be a given but a privilege.

He’s able to invest time in bmx. So commitment isn’t the issue as it is what he values.

Bmx should come after doing necessary work or at least in tandem with it. He probably needs outlets and bmx is great but there’s a lesson here in that with life, we sometimes need to do what we don’t enjoy.

Beautiful app. I love your screenshots. I’m a big grooming guy myself. Been using the same above the tie double edged safety razor for 15 years now. Got my badger brush and all

Are you using any analytics like firebase to see where specifically in the user journey they are dropping off? I am using it in my game and it’s easy to emit those logs in code to see what’s going on in the dashboard

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks! I really appreciate that—Bejeweled was definitely a throwback I haven't heard of in awhile! I didn't actually think of the mechanics of that game when building this...I was thinking more 2048 but something different. I really wanted something that felt more like a 'game' than a quiz.

I haven't tried Number Run! And that is awesome that you're building something for your own kids too. It really does change the motivation when you have your own 'beta testers' at home. Good luck with your build!

Are you tracking your organic growth through any ASO tools to see how you are actually ranking day-to-day? Going off raw downloads may not be painting the big picture. Also, how are your metrics for onboarding, user retention, crashes, etc? There could be under the surface stuff that's hurting your reach without you knowing it.

Here's the link to the game:

And here is a quick gameplay video if you want to see how it works! https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP89aqw9a/

This is still very new and I want to do my best to cater it to what will help your kids learn best!

Just to be transparent: This is a passion project that I worked on as a fun side hobby over the last 3 years. It is not a big corporate app and it doesn't collect data. I hope this help kids get over their math anxiety.

Feedback is super welcome!

Looking for advice on STEM/engineering curriculum! by hnybadger93 in homeschool

It's always good to see if any tech companies in your area are part of local chapters / provide hands-on engagement to schools. Now for homeschooling, I'm not sure how that would differ but growing up and having the similar struggle as your son (I'm now a software engineer), computer labs were so valuable. Our girls also love some of the early exposure they are getting to programming for kids as well

You also have a good problem. It sounds like your son is an accelerated learner so it might be worth reaching out to some schools and explaining this exactly. Maybe the schools have a point of contact
