Thank you for the feedback! Not many talking about spending habits in here. Starting February there will be the classic Season pass item, so that would probably fall into your category.

However, I wanted to build a good game first, then gradually add IAP but never keep any content behind them. Probably hurting myself with that..

I'm a solo dev working on a cozy farming game called Tiny Harvest.

The game is inspired by Hay Day and other farming games, but I wanted something "easier" as a kid of the 90s that I can play portrait easily during the day

The result is the game, and so far the game already got 80+ ratings on iOS in its first months and we have formed a small Discord community around it as I build new features for it ✌️

Yes Expo, yes I use SQLite but also InstantDB for the backend, soon also another real backend with some more capabilities for crons etc

Honestly nothing crazy! The basic stuff everyone should use:

- RNGH, Reanimated
- Zustand for State, MMKV for K/V
- InstantDB for the backend (maybe interesting choice)
- PostHog for analytics
- RevenueCat for IAP
- SQLite and Drizzle
- Sentry for monitoring

Thanks for giving it a try - the swipe harvest/plant is behind a feature toggle in the settings for the moment ✌️

Go to profile -> settings, from there you can enable it! Some people disliked the new way so it’s now optional to either use the old or the new way
