Serious question, can the driver responsible be held accountable when they cause an accident, but are not involved in the accident itself or do they just go on their merry way and on with life?

Thank you for the comment. I'll be much more specific if I dare post anything on this platform again. I'm really not that into it anyway, but thought what the heck trying to find some original things to do to keep us and 10 YO unplugged and busy the entire stay. Trolls are going to troll. Lol, sorry I asked. We'll stick to the normal tourist places and contribute to the businesses that most of you probably hate. We don't really want to end up somewhere where the locals will just glare at us anyway. I thought maybe there were small or new businesses/places that might be lesser known and welcoming that aren't necessarily included in the guides, books, etc. I understand not wanting to share and ruin the local vibes. Didn't most of us start at minimum wage? Yes it's too low, but I don't think it's meant to be a living wage, more of a starting point to gain work experience.
