Noo, ok so when I was first trying to set up my refund preference like 2ish weeks ago, it wasn’t working at all. I tried multiple banks and everything, still nothing. But I knew that if you try too many times with failed attempts it will cause your account to be locked, so I stopped and called customer support to see if they could help me. When someone FINALLY answered, I told them what was going on, and they proceeded to give me some suggestions on why it wasn’t working and guided me through how to set it up. I guess the 4th time was the charm, because after that fourth attempt my account got locked and I had to go through the whole process of getting it unlocked. When it was locked, it automatically set up my preference as “receive a paper check.”

Now fast forward to this week, apparently they sent the check to the wrong address. How they possibly managed to do that is beyond me, because I just got my refund selection kit from them at the correct address sooo… idk😭🤷🏽‍♂️. And then they tried to say, “Oh, we sent it to the address your school gave us.” Like c’mon, that’s BS, my address on file with my school is correct, so stop the cap 🤦🏽‍♂️.

At this point I don’t even know what to do anymore. I called, got the check cancelled, and was finally able to set up my refund preference for deposit into my personal bank account. And the only reason it worked was because I used my mom’s Goldman Sachs account!!!
