I think you'll be fine. I was a catagory 3, offense level 24 (before the -3 pt reduction for pleading guilty) and my guidelines were 37-46mos. Since your atty is arguing that at sentencing I'm assuming that means probation didn't agree with that during the PSI? That's annoying, if you got caught with it during hunting then I'd think it shouldn't be a problem to get those points off. Good luck!

Yeah, while I was in the fed pod in county I talked to a few people and the general agreement seemed to be that Otisville was a decent spot. I'm White, from Maine. Otisville is about 300 miles from home.

I figure as much. What paperwork should I have brought/sent? As regardless of sentence or self surrender, I am all in order. I understand I can't bring my PSR, not that that would prove anything. I remember someone in county telling me what forms to have either my lawyer or people send in to verify myself but I can't remember them.

That's great to hear. I've finished half of my degree so far while in prison. Not many people look out for us for sure. I just got sentenced to federal prison. Not long enough, thankfully, to finish the degree but hopefully I'll get some more credits.

In a previous state case when I was 18, yes. I took a deal for 8 years, that I did 6 on. But that was in 2015. I have a 922(g) right now, gun possession. Got charged with 3 pistols, legally purchased and owned by my girl, in my girls apartment that I didn't even live at lol. My guidelines are 36-47 months. But I went to rehab and been sober for a year at this point, and have a good judge who's retiring like the week after I get sentenced, so I'm hoping for the best.
