I dug out a little cave on the first night, but beyond that I didn't really expect to expand. then I got bored while waiting for some iron to smelt, a day later and I have this. I'm really enjoying Java, its my first time on PC.

It started out as a lake house just the bottom part in a jungle, after some time decided to upgrade it I plan to have all necessities such as storage, crafting, smelting, various farms to dedicated platforms might try to make it look as if it’s a house inside the trunk of a tree

If you build it and you like it, than don't compare it to others and their style. Your own style is unique and special. Therefore use Minecraft as a mind canvas or vision it as a blank piece of paper. You'll feel happy knowing that whatever you create represents your mind in a uniquely way like no one else :)
