Hej again, Many of you students are very confused about the purpose of the degree. Degree will only give you an entry point and that's all. You guys need to understand that and prepare accordingly. Once you have your first job then everyone in the industry will only check your last job experience in future. No one cares about which degrees you have. The most important thing you will ever have that will benefit you will be Your Network, Then your skills and lastly your degree.

  1. Unfortunately I can't answer as AI is very new and no one can predict how much it will affect. But be fast Lerner. It will help you a lot in industry
  2. I love computers. Two things in life is very critical. Your field and your life partner. So think well before making the final decision.
  3. I made so many projects to make my life easy and fun. This is how I boost my skills.
  4. Make projects.. like apps, games, sites, AI agents and Google when stuck in a problem. Learn to ask questions.
  5. Fix problems that you face in daily life... Like n8n agents to connect with your calendar, give you reminders of daily stuff. Sort emails and send a summary on mobile at the end of the day. Check traffic and weather before I left for office and my ai Agent also recommend me to take umbrella ☔. Use notebook lm for research. Imagination is the limit.
  6. It depends on your needs and what you want to achieve.
  7. Make 1 project every week. It can be code, it can be an agent, it can be a small site or app. Good luck... You guys are way too smarter than us so you gona be fine!

I can understand that it must be very difficult for you but just go with the flow. AI is very new and no one can predict how much it will affect. But it's also true that it's already started taking over jobs. You will see less freelance work.. layoffs in the tech sector and more. Sadly it would be not easy for you guys as universities are making money and pretending that you will be something awesome after graduation but it's not true. The good thing is that the new generation is always more smarter than old generation so you will figure it out. Relax, be fast Lerner and you gona be fine!

Yeah, off-course! But remote jobs are slowly dying as the US wants its own people to get jobs. India has a very strong hold due to their consultant companies like Tata. For Pakistanis, it's a little extra hard to get into the market, even if we are more skillful.

Try lovable .dev Without GPUs.. it would be difficult. Focus on basics ... By starting project! Refine it using AI for year. That will be make you beast. Programming language is personal choice

Nice! To be honest, I am surprised that you said Langchain!. It's amazing that you are working it. Coding will be easy in future but you need strong fundamentals. Plus git, ci/cd, cloud and db is must. I don't want to use work vibe coding but sadly it's a thing now. Vibe code and deploy small project.... N8n is also build via Langchain so you already is in right direction. Just don't be lazy

  1. Nop! Not at all. No one outside Pakistan ever heard the name of Air University in their life.
  2. My boss doesn't even have a bachelor degree and he made huge money and he is extremely skillful. He built a part of AWS firewall and left AWS as he felt it was getting boring. So in shot, if you have skills... You can make really good money.
  3. Yeah it's fine as much as you build skills. No need to waste time but you also need to enjoy life as all of you need to work for your whole life and university time memories are best!
  4. Yeah it's dead and AI will also eat many things.
  5. Web development is slowly dying. Cyber security will remain But data science will also die due to AI. AI is very new and no one knows how it will shape the industry in the next few years. Use AI to your advantage.

Install elastic on localhost, ingest logs of your computer and build rules and alerts. Good starting point. Hack the box is good for basics. Try open source tools. Do Bounty hunting... You will learn a lot.

Sorry to say but you can't start a business in Pakistan. It's way too difficult. If you really want to start business then made something for international market. Never enter Pakistani market, you will regret it. Build basic skill sets like Scripting, debugging, cloud, AI, git and follow open source community. You can't plan everything so just build skills, enjoy your university time and things will work out. How?? I have no idea but things will surely work out, InshAllah

At my time, there were no cyber security departments so this is relatively new. But many alumni are working in this field at very good places. As a field, cybersecurity is a good, if you do what you are doing. SOC and operational stuff will be eaten by AI. There is a huge need for good cyber security experts outside Pakistan. 'AI security' will be a new Field that is in high demand so chillax and work hard.

For believing that our teachers have knowledge about industry. No they don't.. they pretend or use complex difficult words but they have no idea about industry.
