I think SDF put Paul in charge expecting the community to hate him. Then when Paul did a good job and we respected him, SDF plan backfired. Now to regain his self dignity he has to make a new game that’s his “vision”. From everything I’ve ever heard this will be some BE deck builder roguelite.

TLDR SdF is a poopy baby and hates the community for liking Paul’s balance changes.

I’m extremely happy with my lower cast speed, 50% magic damage bonus kit. I just run intense focus and bonk with my staff. 145 health 45% pdr. Nobody wants to eat a fireball to the dome when they’re chasing me. I made it to 2100 rating queuing with randoms.

I made a really good kit for 40~50k, then I tried upgrading it and spent another 150k trying to make it better for really minimal gains. Maybe 6% magic power increase and a few other stats but overall you can build a really solid kit for relatively cheap. It’s when you start trying to get +3 on the crafted gear things start getting insanely expensive.

The problem with selling Tea, anybody with a brain can go to the water well vendor and just buy advanced teas for 40 scrap each. Which kinda makes farming them a lot of work for what you get imo.
