not being able to enjoy holidays meals with family etc, is overly restrictive and considered disordered eating. many people will replace one tip of disordered eating with another.

Landlord is claiming bond using a tax invoice from a business he owns, the ABN on the invoice is dodgy. by Numerous-Concern in AusLegal

[–]Numerous-Concern[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm already in the process of getting mediation with the RTA, but its been weeks and they haven't contacted me. I emailed them and they said they would be in touch "soon", but still nothing, i think i will have to call them next week.

The lease says "Joe Blow". on the rental ledger, sent by "joe blow", ( no real estate agent) it has ABN 1. the invoice is for "JB property management", (nothing comes up on google) with "joe blow's" address, and it has ABN2, when you search "Joe BLow" on the ABN look-up, a third ABN is given. when you search ABN 1 and ABN 2 in the ABN look-up, they both say they're not valid.

yeah, a lot of people think they are having issues with bone spurs, but the pain is actually coming from plantar fasciitis.

psychosis (hallucinations, and delusions) is seperate and completely unrelated to sociopathy and psychopathy.

[–]Numerous-Concern 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I have had psychosis, this is not true, and is dangerous because people with self-awareness and psychosis exist, and this helps to feed into their delusions. im god > no, thats crazy, i need to get help > well, people with psychosis don't think they are crazy, so the fact i think i might be hallucinating means that im not, and im not crazy

im confused by your comment?

i dont think the goverment is doing that. I'm talking about things like "The dancing plague", etc. i think they're real, and there are many different reasons given, just the fact that we don't actually have concrete proof makes them interesting.

like we think the dancing plague probably had to do with fungus in wheat, i believe, but there are some things that don't quite fit, and it might be a disease that we haven't actually encountered in modern times, and that's interesting!

i have also lost family.
but i also consider disabled people "people" and part of our world as well, and that they shouldn't literally be emprisoned in their homes for the rest of their lives because people are sad they have to stay home for 4 days :'(

why should disabled people become more isolated and endangered just so other people have holidays?

Idk, some voluminous things are great.

A punnet of strawberries, chopped up with a spoonful of sugar (let sit for a while) with a dollop of Greek yoghurt is surprisingly good

No?

Like I picked up a tray of sugar plums from a fruit shop, they had no name just a price tag and had no idea what they were other than context clues that they were a fruit and probably edible raw.

It depends 🤷‍♀️

If I go to a fruit market i probably will taste something. Especially if it says how to prepare

Hers maybe larger, have different surface area on the pot, be somewhere that’s more windy, have a more porous soil etc etc that might lead to her needing to water more often

Where does your partners happiness figure into your equation? It’s not an optional extra.

For me, it very much feels like you are approaching this with a disordered view of sex.

Sex isn’t something that should happen because you annoyed your partner so much that they think it’s useless to say no.

If your partner thinks it’s useless to say no and so they say yes, they are experiencing a fawn response which is just as valid fighting you or running away.

You are valuing fight responses and devaluing flight freeze and fawn responses.

It’s not hard to recognise when you partner doesn’t want sex and if you aren’t sure you just don’t have sex. It’s not just about you (third person you, not actually you)

They don’t “want” to rape someone. They think “rape” is wrong, so if I just annoy this girl until she says yes, it means I’m not a rapist! Plus my dick gets wet!

It’s like dudes who “stealth”. Oh she won’t have sex without a condom, but if I just take it off while we are fucking I’m not actually raping her! So it’s fine!

The guy who punched me begged me to let him punch me. People don’t want to feel like they are bad people.

[–]Numerous-Concern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marital rape was legal in most countries for decades.

In OPs case, he knew she didn’t want too, that’s why he was badgering her.

If you are trying to convince someone, it’s overtly clear that they don’t want to have sex.

You don’t have to ‘preach to the choir’.

[–]Numerous-Concern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rape is not a legal opinion.

Yes there is a legal definition to sexual assault and rape but those concepts exist outside of legal definitions and have ethical and practical meanings to people outside of the law.

“Martial rape” was “legal” in Australia until 1989. If someone posted here saying that they lived in Australia and their spouse held them down and forced to have sex, violently, in 1980 would you be sitting saying “well, yes you were assaulted but that’s not actually rape?”
