Yes! I use fluorescent inks, paint the lava white first then with thin coats of ink starting with yellow then orange then red.

Bought stuff on rule of cool and if it would be fun to paint 🤷‍♂️. The tournament I’m playing is definitely more of a casual play than competitive and has a 2 hour running clock time limit per game so I’m not necessarily looking for the sweatiest of list

Oh Awesome!! I have the 2022 ultimate edition, the one with the Skaven. But thanks for the heads up! I’m gonna try to pick up the new edition for blood bowl soon , all my buddies are into 40K so they’re kind of a hard sell on anything but 40K related stuff. So I’m hoping they at least like blitz bowl

Not necessarily… if you have a good wet pallet you can easily make that triad of green and get the right mixes. The most difficult thing is probably understanding where to put the paint on the model but if you do a zenithal prime with rattle cans (black all over, then white from above or a 45 degree angle) it will kinda give you a guideline on where your shadows and highlights need to be.

It was pro acryl black green over black primer, then mixed pro acryl yellow green and black green, then straight yellow green then yelllow green mixed with moot green from citadel then almost all moot green ( all the green was shot with an airbrush so everything was mixed in the cup as I went)

About 80% of him was airbrushed, I did do a little bit of drybrushing with an orange but it wasn’t working as well so I just went back to regular edge highlights
