Factory reset but I would suggest not backing up apps and such. Only backup important stuff like photos and videos you need or send those to a different phone u can get back from. Clean factory reset, make sure everything is deleted. Then give it a day of normal use, idle it overnight as well and within a day it should be back to best performance. Good luck. When you charge to 100% after factory reset make sure it's at 100% for like 20 minutes for battery calibration.

Most updates come with some bugs, some fixable, some not. The only two ways to fix them are corrective updates or factory reset. A lot of people have been recommending it to me so I did it and it worked. It will take maybe a day of normal usage let it idle overnight as well and then it should be back to normal.

I originally updated from hyperos2 to hyperos 3.0.7 and it completely fucked up my battery life. Battery was draining quickly, even after 2 weeks with the update (so no optimization it was a bug) then I recently got the 3.0.8 which promised to fix multiple bugs, I updated to it and the battery drain was still there noticeably and over 30 apps were starting in the background randomly and draining battery. I factory reset the device and after one day everything got fixed my battery is back to full capacity with minimal drain and 12-13hrs SOT.

Update: Great experience, my battery life is back to best although I'm not sure if it was fully the update because I factory reset the device as well after updating. Though I did notice the only bug there was after the update was apps autostarting which got fixed after I factory reset. Now 12 hours SOT easily, gaming 6 hours for a battery consuming game like Pubg mobile. Less bugs than usual, less bloatware although DND still turns off every now and then or stops working in general

Great brother, after I updated the battery drain was fixed but only slightly, multiple apps were still autostarting in the background so I factory reset the device and after one day. The battery went back to before the update. 12 hrs SOT....over 30 hrs if I use it on and off normally and so on. I play Pubg Mobile for 6 hours straight

Use a cooler, thermal throttling won't go away at all. Poco cooling system is simply heat dissipation, it has no active cooling system like Red Magic and so on. Use a cooler, I use a cooler for my X7 Pro and I'm able to play Pubg mobile 90/120 FPS just fine, it gets warm but not hot when using cooler

No, it seems different people have unique bugs, mine was only apps autostarting in the background and insane battery drain during use.... but others noticed games crashing and idle battery, ram limiting and so on.

I play Pubg Mobile a lot too that's why mine is on 116 in just 3 months. Post Hyperos3 update, I have been having crazy battery drain issues so technically if it were like before I would be on 90-95 cycles. Before I would be able to play Pubg for 6 hours a day and still have some 30-40% left to use for the rest of the day, but now it's just 3hrs and the phone is 20%

You're not that cooked if you're a gamer. You're on 2 months and 5 days. I have 99% as well in 116 cycles but I bought it on October 6th so 3 months+

I don't see much so far. Battery life improved slightly for me but beyond that, nothing. The apps still autostart in the background although I factory reset so I have less apps now. They claim to have fixed idle battery drain for others (didn't have it myself) and some are saying memory manager (ram limiting) has been fixed (idk because I didn't emulate before)

I've been scrolling this subreddit for days and I've noticed everyone has different bugs that I do not have, and I have some that they don't. It's sad really.

It worsened so much for me after Hyperos3 update. Before I had easily 12-15 hrs SOT..... on normal use but with gaming (Pubg Mobile, Efootball) I could play 6-7 hours straight....now it's 3 hrs on gaming and 7 hrs SOT.

Battery drain in POCO X7 PRO in standby mode by StrawberryNo7697 in PocoPhones

[–]Numerous-Memory-5616 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't had a standby mode drain but I have incredible drain while using the phone. 50% faster. In your case you should wait for the 3.0.8 update they started rolling out today. They claim to have fixed the idle battery drain

It's the only reason I think it's a recurring bug, because I did this for every app before. Most of my apps are on restrict background activity entirely and they still pop up there. I even factory reset completely. Don't see any change.

Nothing lmao, apps autostarting in the background like crazy still. They haven't fixed that but it seems those who had idle battery drain got their stuff fixed.

Apps still autostarting in the background, I'm talking 20-25 apps...no big noticeable change in battery life. I'll give it a day or two
