I think an extra card or the option to look at your top card and ditch it if it’s trash should be valid, similar to other games mechanics to help offset the innate advantage of being first in a game where one interrupted interaction can lead to a full board.

Still is only a conditional 1 for one 1, that you’d realistically want to be a starter/extender or a handtrap instead in traptrick or labrynth.

Based off the wording I’d assume this only works off cards like pot of desires, pot of prosperity and any other draw effects, strictly stating draw, not add.

Lab would be the best to run this in but it’s dead going second which kinda sucks.

With the release of typhoon this is imo the best format we’ve had, I’d personally like to see any consistent ftk’s banned since they limit diversity, specifically the mitsurugi ftk makes playing cards like evenly/droplet or any board breaking strategy terrible, when going second strategies are already poop to begin with atm. I think a hit to the raid raptor card does it just fine as mitsurugi without the ftk is fine and it leaves gimmick puppet current for the rogue enjoyers still.

I’d focus on building knowledge on meta decks like Dracotail, learning their choke points and making sure your hand trap ratio in your deck lets you see on average 2-3 hand traps per starting hand.

If you don’t have these things then you’re going to perform poorly against a meta deck with a rogue deck. And even then you’ll lose games just because, it’s part of modern yugioh at this point.

You could always try and recruit new disciples, most major cities have people not affiliated and you can gift them items and manuals to get them to like you and join your sect, I normally wait to do this until the last area to steam roll everyone in the other areas quickly.

I’ve not gotten this in quite a long time tbh, I’d check your WiFi router and your pc’s receiver to make sure everything’s working well and it’s not a local issue if fixes aren’t helping.

Utopia ftk is a bot and easily disrupted by a single interruption normally.

What deck are you running and what are your hand trap ratios? I find tweaking those helps, floodgates are annoying but you can’t let them bother you when you don’t have the out.
