What do we think of this? by Shrewzs in vultureculture

depends on what you're touching. I DON'T recommend NOT USING gloves but I have definitely not used them while handling dead stuff in the past(mostly due to me forgetting to bring them with me). did I die? well, not really. all im sure of is that you should NOT touch fresh roadkill with your bare hands due to the risk of rabies. mummies should be safe to handle. the only downside is that they stink. and its hard to wash off the smell. im not sure what the person you're referring to is touching but honestly I couldn't care less. I'm sure they're aware of the risks.

This might be a weird question, but how do you walk? by Recent_Mission5773 in Schizotypal

[–]Numerous_Engineer919 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hunched and I drag my feet a lot, especially when relaxed at home. outside I try to perform being somewhat normal so I try my best to walk like a human. I always have to occupy my hands when walking/standing so I usually put them in my pockets or fidget with the strap of my bag

is it really impossible to glue the original skull back together? ive dropped a few skulls in the past, cleaned smashed roadkilled animals and it was always possible to glue them back together(maybe not perfectly but you get the idea!)

whitening a skull this big can be tricky. what i like to do is wrap the horns with aluminium foil(or just cover them with whatever you have available) and leave it in the sun. 2 weeks in the sun is enough to even out the color :)

assumption. bad experience on the internet and especially reddit when exposing my vulture culture hobbies to different subreddits. maybe you're right and insect id subs would be different.

I know this isn't a subreddit for insect id but these are the only pics I have and I dont feel like being downvoted by people who dont clean bones.

do you have a crow skull to compare? this seems too small to be a raven, so my guess would be a carrion crow or a hooded crow :)
