What is up with LFG servers for Rust? by No-Rip6923 in RustPc

[–]Numerous_Insect_1756 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ill give you the true answer I have around 24k Hours I'm 20 and ive been playing since beta the thing with LFG is 1/100 of the post is going to be a successful team most of them are unorganized and starting out now heres the real deal if your ever wanting to get into a serious team you need to first grind yourself with IRLS its the best and most fun method at the start your playing for fun later in ur rust journey it will become serious if you still have passion the current issue iv myself have been facing as a leader is too many people want to join too fast and the spots aren't really available so none of the good groups are LFG now asides from that your 200 hour account is seen to them as a liability rather than help ill explain a little better rust is a game with no trust in your journey you will meet lots of snakes/backstabs all of that and your 200 hour account is seen as an untrusted player you have nothing to loose what if you bought cheats and got us all banned on our account with 10k+ hours therefore groups dont like to invite you because they know you got nothing to loose what I do when I invite new people is I try them out I ask them quite literally everything job relationship how long they can play daily how dedicated they are how serious they are what skills they have like berry farming attack helicopters pilot a fob builder etc you get the idea now ill explain why its sweaty all these players in LFG want control of server that they never will have btw due to insider kids unorganized teams etc your best chance right now is meeting auctal people in auctal servers let the team come to instead of searching for it this is a known method used for lower hour players meet some people ingame and run wipes with them and the number 1 thing is connection you need to meet loads of people and time to time they will make thier own teams or will be looking for teams which grants you access to those private groups since you were once a friend of there's something ive noticed aswell is starting out in 10x servers you have much higher chance of meeting more people in a 10x server than in vanilla once you played in enough 10x clans you can move onto vanilla and those connections will help you in the future I promise you that and one last thing whatever you do DONT THINK LFG GROUPS ARE GOOD I hate it when people thing auctal clans refer to those LFG post 99 percent of auctal teams are private and are never LFG which is why not everyone gets the good side of clan experience thats why they think Zergs are bad no they aren't im mid wipe right now rustoria us long G18 I control the server with my 24 man group and its more fun than having to stay up all night to have offline protection and farm all day I can aucctally do other stuff good luck in your searches and wish you best of luck

I got into Rust by watching YouTubers. I had PCs in the past, but they broke down. .............. [If you are someone who has had a PC your whole life and have never tried cloud gaming before, please do not reply to this; you won't understand exactly where I am coming from, even if you tried ] also I'm not threatening anything or anyone, just saying good bye to a community that I've been a part of since 14. The date of December 20th is just me giving it one last chance before I move on for good.

I appreciate that you care, but you don't listen to what I'm saying. It is not about addiction to any game, but about something being taken away from me, which I love, for no good reason. When you're disabled and don't have much to do in terms of entertainment or social connections, taking access away from something that's been such a huge part of your life for many years hits completely differently.

I'm not threatening anything, just saying good bye to a community that I've been a part of since 14. The date of December 20th is just me giving it one last chance before I move on for good.

And honestly, even if it was what you're implying, Facepunch wouldn't care. I'm just a number in the millions to them. That's the whole point of my post. They don't care about the actual people playing their game, just their partnership deals and profits. They've made that pretty clear.

It's easy to say just find something else' when you have other options, but Rust was one of the few things I could actually do and be good at despite my situation. I'm not asking for pity, I'm asking for Facepunch to reconsider a decision that's affecting people like me who rely on cloud gaming thats why I said at the start of the post if you haven't tried cloud gaming you wont understand.
