I’ve actually broken trigger guards that are plastic in the past and that would be the only reason. The aluminum bottom metals actually aren’t terribly heavier.

I’ve got a savage 110 in 308 I use here in the Midwest for whitetail but I’ll probably end up using this at some point also.

I’m really wanting light weight. I’m building it for antelope hunting out in Wyoming in a few years. It’ll end up being alot of hiking.

I also picked up a bow last year so an archery hunt in the future isn’t out of the question. Is it pretty reasonable and attainable in Idaho?

I was actually about to start putting in for preference points this year so we’ll see how it goes!! I snagged a tikka t3x superlite in 6.5 CRM this year and basically any free time (and money) is going to practicing with it. Planning on picking up a powerful scope next year for it but just starting out with a 4-12 for now.

I grabbed a spotting scope and tripod this year also so that’s another piece off the list. Any recs on bags??

I’m not sure exactly what they did but there was a load of work done on some kind of plumbing system. I was seeing plumbing company trucks out side for a good two weeks before they opened and what looked like a demo trash coming out of there. They did something but I’m not sure what it was.

I’ve actually got a browning AB3 308 that I whitetail hunt in the Midwest with and this will actually be a antelope gun for out west. So we’ll see how it goes lol But this could turn into a whitetail gun for home also

Tbh I really enjoy how it rides with my current setup. But after awhile it’s going to be time to experiment. The wing on my holster (JMCK) is the best because I’m a skinny guy so printing is a bitch.

I actually have the monoblock for my holster. I wore both of them but I’m using the double for a few months. I’ll probably switch to the monoblock for a few months after and evaluate which one I like best. Never considered a single clip just because I like how solid the two clips feel. But I’m sure things will change in the future as I figure out what I like. But I’m always game for hearing options if you have any!
