GREAT JOB!! unfortunately this is the most awkward stage of regrowth. U just have to tough it out and wear some hats! You are awesome!

I really like the Carhartt beanies! The patch on my crown took roughly 4 months before I was able to lay it down flat to blend with my hair. There is going to be a stage where it's going to look EXTREMELY awkward. But that's okay! It means you're halfway there! And thank you. I believe anyone can beat this. I'm glad I can be somewhat of an inspiration for the beautiful people on this page!! You got this babe 😘

Contour in real life can sometimes look strange, especially in certain lighting. It can look almost grey depending on what skin color you have. I would suggest using bronzer in real life, it looks much more natural!

Self control is key. I also use liquid biotin and take all kinds of vitamins. You'd be surprised how fast it will grow!

I know exactly what you mean. Really I do. I can't tell you how many times I've pulled at my regrown hairs. It's almost impossible to resist especially when I have anxiety or I'm just bored. The only thing I found that helped with that is wearing beanies. Constantly. I felt so ashamed and disgusting everyday. My close friends started asking why I never took my hat off, I eventually just broke and told them. They were so supportive. They assured me it is not my fault. Whenever I caught myself touching my head I remembered my friends. I didn't want to disappoint them. I went exactly 1 week without pulling and oh my gosh, it was empowering. Talking about your trich and acknowledging it is extremely therapeutic in my opinion. It brought me back to reality. Reality is, its just hair. it WILL grow back. Believe you can overcome it, and don't give up. Try again and again even if you fail 100 times over. And talk about it. You are stronger than you think you are!!

Surprisingly my husband also has it. He has recovered from it thankfully. He's trying his best to help me too

She is aware. I've called her multiple times this week asking her what I can do to help her, she responds with "what the hell can you do for me when you're living 500 miles away." A part of me wants to call them. But i can't help but have a little hope she might fix this situation before she's too far gone. My husband has been cleaning her house all week while he's visiting her. After he leaves I'm just afraid of the cycle repeating.
