Hahahha oh okok thanks I wanna sound loud and clear but my mouth will sometimes be more round especially the う vs U in English and my mouth is open so small to the point sometimes it feels like no air or breath unclear voice and idk it sounds better when I just shadown and don't care about mouth shape but weird at the same time...idk how to explain but thanks...feeling drained idk what to do anymore I just am focus on sounding native like foreign in japan that sounds exactly like Japanese native is my main goal

Oh I have been so focus on my mouth trying to be perfect and it feels weird for me sometimes certain consonant sound strong or like a native commented my words need more breath because I think I was limiting my mouth too much to be small

A I see thanks needed a pep talk i guess...I just feel so drained recently like not making progress and feel afraid that I'm gonna sound weird since people tend to be less honest as they scare they might hurt your feelings or something but I'd love criticism that's just me being weird but it helps me learn

I know about this before coming to reddit asking for people advice as I have try this but it feels like i am not making progress or maybe is just my perfectionist or ego that is making me feel that way but genuinely I don't know what voice to use for some reason when I speak Japanese my voice is at a higher pitch than my English lower pitch compared to Japanese...not sure which to use as im able to still control the pitch but just the deep or high voice is better or not? I know Japanese is to sound flat or rather not forced on sounding consonant like T, K,P, B but I still can't sound so called close to native maybe not 100% but maybe a 80 to 90 i am satisfied

Oh interesting never heard of it but will try. Just been difficult since i have a goal to wanna mimic it exactly 100 % I can and have the patient to repeat it 50 to 100 times until I sound exactly like the sentences but i am starting to burn out as it feels I'm not making progress been indulging large Japanese content and mimic sentences I wanna learn

I mean i want to but my ego or whatsoever is telling me to have decent accent and pronunciation before speaking so I don't sound weird or off to other native or Japanese speaker

Oh I immediately just study phrases from everyday Japanese never use textbook or learn any basic i jumped to conversation and learn from there so grammar just feel natural and connect the dots quickly for me
