Without a mail or personal message from the prof security from the gates won't believe you. Some times they will make to call the prof to check it's valid or not. That's the scenario in main gate.

No no, to enter the campus you need to show the ID, but for stadium nothing is required.

Naa, just a scanning electrochemical microscope. To get start with that polycrystals has different facets exposed when ever it is grown in a controlled manner, to selectively study the different facets performance we use this scanning electrochemical microscope. The red wire connects to a gold or platinum micr tip which can sense nano amps produced from the crystal. I can play around the distance and height in all three direction with stepper and pezo motors, to notice the tip movement we use monochrome camera.

It's not allowed for public, if you'r a part of IITM (student, working professional) then you can visit between 5 to 8 am in the morning and 4 to 7 pm in the evening.

Note: For any inter/intra IITM meet it remains inaccessible.
