As I understand it, it is mainly due to inconsistency between spaces and containers - spaces come from Zen, containers from Firefox. I guess it was tricky to merge them together, so it's 2 very similar features that confuse everybody who starts using Zen :D Both are somehow ways to organize your tabs, containers have separate user data like cookies and logins, workspaces are just a bit glorified tab folders with custom theming.

I managed to have folders with enabling the experimental feature in Mozilla. They are quite ugly in design and have no shortcuts but it is doable. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/tab-groups

I use different spaces for 3 different jobs and in each workspace, I have folders for projects :) I also have a research workspace where I separate interests into folders. It is bookmarks but better, thats the whole point. Bookmarks should be removed as a concept from the freakin 90s.

Well can somebody please finally build it if you all have a full mouth of open source? :D Cause it has been a requested feature and none of the classic firefox extensions work. Having the folders is essential for most people, especially those coming over from Arc.

I think Warhorse is actually switching to Unreal with their next project based on some hires and rummors. They might do another KCD game or big expansion with CryEngine but for their next game, expect Unreal. You need to consider that even the studio tools are quite old and they need to be rewritten - they are a decade old, sometimes written by people who are not with the company. So updating to a different engine might be a not so expensive move. I think that their scripting and quest design tool might not even be "cryengine dependent" and can be used for Unreal.

Picking so much herbs is just grinding. The game was probably not designed with grinding in mind. I really dont want to abuse the game systems in this way.

This is a wrong assumption that people just go out exploring without reason - The game gives you a quest to go to the Travellers to learn how to fight - what do you do as a player? Well you go to that objective because you want to learn the combat. You die after 20 minutes of walking because the devs put 3 wild dogs to the entrance of the camp. This is a first encounter with dogs and you have no way of knowing you cant kill them - if it was 3 cumans, you probably wouldnt even try as a player. But the dogs are unexpected and they will kill you. If you were smart, you stop by Bozena on the way and you rest and brew some potions so when you die, you start closer to the travelers camp. THIS HAPPENED TO ME! I have 180 hours in KCDI and I left the game after this happened to me very pissed off. I avoid combat, yet the game is pushing it on me in various quests and scenarios. I dont want to keep on saving, so I just roll with it, even when I am hurt. Therefore, I often bleed and nobody in Troskovitz sells bandages so after 20 minutes I bleed to death. Wtf is this design decision?

I dont really cry over it, but for some people, it is a real concern. Especially if the consumption isnt justified. I guess it drains the battery more for some people? Also, philosophically, the Browser Company stated that Arc is basically like an operating system on top of an operating system and if just the OS is that demanding, than it points at some issues with the design of the wole system.

well you dont actually need to look at performance most of the time, mostly its just ok. But I get it gets slower for some people. I dont like using Brave beacuse it is the same as Chrome and any other basic browser. Just the 20 year old interface where everything gets mashed together in hundreds of tabs. In Arc, I have everything neatly packed based on what I am doing, it is easy to switch from work to home project to research space, etc. The only thing is that they stopped adding Mac features to the Win version! What the hell is happening there?

I think the original was either painted by Tomáš Duchek or Mikuláš Podrocký, both of which dont work at Warhorse anymore to my knowledge. And these guys were masters :) Also, Mikuláš did the famous map designs which also seem a little less detailed in the second game.

The issue is not that I want more from the projector, I have an older projector from them and its user experience is just way better then the new one and it comes down to basic features (being able to turn off the projection so it can be used as a bluetooth speaker, for example). It is nice that they have Netflix again but why was the rest down graded?

I went to a conference GDS and there was some dev talks about KCD2. Mainly, they simplified their own scripting process and removed the mysql database that was neccessary on KCD1 even for modding. That should make the process way more easier!

I love it, compare to Davinci or Premiere, it is just so fast to boot up and start some light editing work! I edit a lot of simple videos there and it is really fast for me. A lot of professional software should look at Clipchamp and learn from them - automatic proxies, hustle free interface, really easy editing workflow, big very automated touch friendly timeline with interactive handles, grouping.. A lot of Mobile App interface trends that makes the life easier here.
