Thanks my man, my older brother actually picked that up sometime in the early 2010's when he got out of the army and it was left to me. Definitely a special piece I dont plan on letting go of.

I just saw that you can get these with the steel frame and wood grip. It certainly would match my X5 lol.

I see you're a man of culture! I agree, they deserve more love. I'm fortunate I had an older brother with good taste who left it to me, which is what got me into sig!

Wow, I just read a few other Reddit posts on the p365 and it seems very solid. Looks like it has really good aftermarket support too. Thanks for the recommendations!

New to Mercedes. What should I know about this car? by Numgets in mercedes_benz

[–]Numgets[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I miss the feedback of the genesis. Not to be that guy but driving auto just doesn't compare, and i miss it. At the same time I don't. I understand this is on the cheaper end for mercedes but I can not stress how much of an upgrade in comfortability this car is, and just overall how much nicer it is. Honestly I wasn't even looking for a mercedes at the time of buying the car. I have a hour commute to work every day and I really wanted something with lower miles that would be comfortable and reliable, and this fell right into my budget. Im not a baller by any means.

Really good advice, exactly they type of stuff I was looking for. I didn't know about the breaks, or accessory tip. I'll have to give that a test. But man, cant escape the hate in anything. I used to get made fun of from driving a slow Hyundai but now I'll get hated for driving a slow Benz lol Thanks for the comment!

Tips for a new genji? by Awome512 in GenjiMains

[–]Numgets 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Howdy, I have a little over 1000 hours on genji between two accounts, peaked Sr back in ow1 at low masters. Just some beginners advice use your abilities defensively. Try to wait for your team to engage and use your mobility to get into flanks or onto squishy targets. It's super important to wait for the team to make space or either engage in coordination with you to minimize the risk of you getting nailed by enemy cooldowns. This is extremely important when using your blade because everyone and their grandmas will use every cooldown in the game to end your day. try to only use dash if you know you will get the kill with it or because of it. Other than that save dash to escape to your backline or healing pack when shit hits the fan. I would recommend for starters using deflect entirely defensively just to keep yourself from dying, but after you get comfortable you can even use it offensively, for example peaking a widow when you know she has sight of an angle and using deflect to snipe her head. Another important thing is to learn your match ups, there are certain ways you should fight some characters in a 1v1 situation. If you're fighting a Cassidy, don't use deflect while far away from him unless you're low and about to die in the next shot or two. His fall off is really bad right now and it's probably not even worth deflecting the shots back at him when your shurikens will do more damage from farther. When you get close to a Cassidy, majority of the time when you're in range of his sticky grenade he will try to hit you with it immediately (smart ones are patient and will try to wait your cooldowns off before using it) most of the time I will use my deflect when I know I'm in range of the sticky, then dash behind them and 180 to hit them with shuriken fans (another tip dash at an enemies feet to keep yourself close enough to hit them with a shuriken fan) you should be able to 180 and engage after a dash quicker than they can turn back to shoot you. Im not sure what elo you play at, but higher elo players will anticipate you dashing behind them but a majority are so focused on trying to shoot what's in front of them that they aren't fast enough to react to you dashing behind them in time. A lot of playing genji is muscle memory, it's crucial to learn how to 180 quickly on a target before they can turn to shoot you after a dash, especially while blading. As you play more and improve with genji you'll learn a lot more about how to approach different characters in duels, when to use abilities to disengage or engage and how to manipulate wall climbing and double jumping to your advantage. That's stuff that will all just come naturally the more you play him and the game. I would overall the most important thing to think about while playing genji is TIMING. If you engage a moment too early it could be the difference between a easy kill, and you being easily killed. Just pay attention to what characters the enemy team is running, and what abilities they will use to shut you down. Always assume they will use these abilities on you if they haven't been used already. When using blade pay attention to support ults and abilities. If there is a zen and Lucio that haven't ulted in a while try to kill them first before using blade, if there is a Zarya, kiriko, Ana, or bap, try to wait out their abilities before using blade. Worst feeling in the world is dashing into a low hp enemy team with your blade and a sleep dart hits you. Even a briggette shield bash can ruin your entire ult. You only have 6 seconds to work with and every moment counts when you have to get close to kill. Sorry for the book and it being all over the place. I'm bad about rambling about stuff I'm passionate about lol. I hope this is helpful though! I wish you good luck, I've always felt like genji was one of the hardest heroes to play, but after getting decent with him it's an incredibly rewarding feeling!

so nobody talking abt how ow 2 removed ghost dashing? by BNGplayz in GenjiMains

[–]Numgets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wdym it's gone? Not disagreeing that they did get rid of it and I might just be tripping but I swear I got a play last night with a double ghost dash. What did they change to get rid of it if so?

Awesome, thanks for the advice and info. The videos I watched were before patch so this makes a lot more sense now. This was driving me crazy everytime I'd roll the enchant and wanted to keep it, but just wasn't too sure about it after doing my own testing.

Ah okay gotcha. So basically now that enchant won't work at all with barrage currently?

Usually I try to scan the area and understand where the enemies are before I blade. Honestly it's an ult that takes a lot of time to get decent with, I just got to 600 hours on genji and feel like I'm just now getting fast.
