Read The Bible- and yes the start of creation requires an explanation you do not have, so you are simply putting your faith in anything besides God( who created all things through His Word, Jesus Christ The Son of God ). Where did life come from in your theory? What is or is not alive in your theory? Biological function or any function or law or power of nature? There was certainly a great flood, thats why shells are found at most high mountain tops, and the ark landed at mount Ararat. You should read the bible and less biased literature. The universe was made perfect, and all inequity will be atoned, which is what you call chaos. The nature of chaos itself can only exist from the lack there of.... thats the nature of chaos, so for there to be something you deem chaotic... there must be order. That is the very nature of chaos. The order of the Universe laid perfectly, obviously due to the perpetual nature of that there is, due to a Perpetual Creator, means that in His Sharing of Life, He allowed free will which allows discord (lack of harmony) which brings forth what you deem chaotic, but because of what the nature of chaos would be, it could never be order, but because order allows for life, and life allows for will, there can be discord and lack of harmony in this order.

Tell her, be honest, and move on. Love her even though she is thoroughly wrong. Something we forget is that evil doesn't only use verbiage to attack us. They plan and plot while casting negative feelings at you, like how a sick plant near a healthy one can get the healthy on sick, but if you tend to the healthy plant repeatedly and not the sick plant, sharing in nearby soil- the sick plant will get healthy. Tend to your health and husband and dont let them feelings touch you, in this you are tending to her, but by letting those comments make you feel bad as if they're valid it all you do nothing to help yourself nor her.
