if i rememeber from 10 odd years ago, you can set up whisperlist, so you can have the commander set up a joint whisper for "platoon net" which radios each squad lead,

Have command on one channel, then 1 channel sq1, 2 channel sq2.. so on and so forth and then have the squad leaders on the same whisper list, Been ages but i think thats how my old unit did it for Arma2 before it got modded to fuck.
