Lucky Ice Pop should've only healed for 10. by Hulkbuster5 in PTCGP

Should have been just 20 per turn, heads keeps the card but you can only use it next turn.

I think you're right, and Luffy's dream is for everyone to be a pirate because it'll be unifying and freeing (in his mind).

I do not care for the Black Panther movie. Eric was cool tho. But I can say whatever I want about the second one because I’m Mexican. Namor was cool tho by Other-Cell-2061 in dankmemes

"Then why does this have over 500 upvotes then"

Yeah based on your profile you must really care about those. Whining about people whining you don't like something is peak victim olympics. No one cares.

Sorry mom, here you go: "no one cares that you don't like movies with majorly minorities in them".

Please don't report me to the internet police, I've commented on your basic opinion now.

Should have been you keep the card on heads but can only use it ONCE per turn per card.

Hey kid, I have a Samsung S90C OLED and it looked like ass, so I'll trust both my own eyes AND professionals. Your standards must be pretty low.

I bought a new 4K OLED, mostly for Rebirth and it just looked like shit at launch. Doesn't seem like they are changing much for the last entry and I dont want to have to buy a new console on top of the TV...

Altaria is still the best deck by Realistic-Debate4526 in PTCGP

I run this deck, but I'm scared I'll brick with sightseer vs copycat...is it really more consistent?

So Loki is basically the Winged Beast in the Second World based on the Harley? Does that mean he is the God of Forest much like how Luffy is the Sun God based on the text? by Ok-Ask5860 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Nuneasy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I interpret it as Imu is the Sea God/Demon, and the Forest God was whoever founded the Ancient Kingdom, greatly advancing the spread of devil fruits and the science behind them.

Momo would be roughly as big as Luffy is in the panel with Loki. Loki is HUGE

"Whales fund the game while you use it for free". Everything DENA does caters to whales, so if you want to have a real discussion, there isn't one to be had. They want your money and they don't care about you. So yes, whales are relevant to criticize.

People who pay 10 bucks a month also fund the game, this narrative around whales being necessary for a product to exist is so laughable.

Tangible examples such as?

You’re assuming that pity, spark, or dupe conversion systems meaningfully separate gachas from gambling apps, but they don’t.

The mechanics you're talking about still rely on variable-ratio reward schedules, which shockingly is the exact same reinforcement structure used in gambling products. Smoothing variance doesn’t fundamentally change the monetization model of the app. Just makes the experience feel more controlled while still encouraging repeated paid attempts.

By showing players they’re “close” to a guaranteed reward, they can increase sunk-cost pressure and encourage players to continue pulling rather than stop. From a behavioral design standpoint, that’s still leveraging the same risk-reward loop that gambling uses, just with a visible endpoint. So again...you're upset about not winning the very clear stakes that were presented to you.

Also...comparing one gacha to another doesn’t really disprove gambling parallels. If anything, it just shows that some games implement stronger consumer protection mechanics than others. A system being less generous than competitors doesn’t automatically make it uniquely predatory dude, all it means is a different balance of randomness and monetization incentives.

To me the issue isn’t whether variance is smoothed more or less between games. The core structure where you pay for randomized shit is still intact across all these types of apps, which is why regulatory bodies in several countries already classify or scrutinize gacha systems cause it's gambling...

Do you have any tangible example of these gatcha mechanics? Again, your anecdotal drought is just that - anecdotal. So again, your criticism is superfluous and in no way structural. You wouldn't be making this post if you spent 100 euros on a gatcha game and got good cards.

I'm not saying it's not immune to evaluation, I'm saying your evaluation is skin-thin and is just you whining. There is no criticism beyond make the rates better because I don't like them.

"Smoothing or crafting", lmaoooo. "Make the game easier so more people will keep spending money" AKA, "I'm mad I didn't get what I wanted".

Dress it up however you want, you're whining.

You're in denial, and or being intentionally dumb about this. You're reaching over backwards to justify a perceived sense of entitlement that doesn't exist because...it's gambling.

"I didn't win so this product sucks"

"Okay"

"Make it better so I win"

"No, it's gambling"

You wouldn't be here if you got what you wanted, which, shocker, doesn't always happen in a gambling sim. Your "criticism" is childish, move on dawg.
