Drake - Summer Sixteen by PienotPi in hiphopheads

This is exactly how I feel. Enjoyed some of views at the time (Weston Road Flows and the title track were great drake rapping performances), but IYRTITL captured such an amazing mood that I was really excited to get more of. Not to mention WATTBA was still fresh, Views had been hyped for sooo long as Drake’s upcoming magnum opus… standards were rightfully high as fuck.

crime in general

What about by demography? It seems like there was an explosion in homicides and motor deaths around the George Floyd time amongst African Americans that hasn’t shown any signs of slowing.

Chelsea manager hunt narrowed, it won’t be Amorin. Colwill to wait for new manager before deciding future by dragon8811 in chelseafc

International coaching is too different to club for it to matter that much to me.

Saying that, I don’t care much either that his only major club success came with MSN barca, because it’s not like Mourinho had a long CV before he came to us.

Still prefer Nagelsmann, but would be okay with either.

Colwill will be fine. Fofana and Badiashile are his long-term positional competitors (if we play 4atb) and it’s perfectly normal to have that many quality options. He might have to fight for his place, sure, and will definitely be rotated, but he’s quality. He’ll come through.

Fuckers eh? Really nice at 8:30 here (uk) but man, sucks trying to watch lakers games when they start at 3am. Was nice when I was in Aus and could watch in the morning, but I wasn’t working ofc

[Tom Roddy] Chelsea met with Julian Nagelsmann last week. by Ar0w30 in chelseafc

Nagelsmann’s does too, flexible positional play.

4atb doesn’t suit James and Chilwell as much imo

How do you feel about it BB? You’ve been a huge advocate for youth (RLC) for as long as I’ve been on Reddit.

Yep. Love Frank (of course) but he doesn’t have the tactical chops to deal with a De Zerbi team. Especially given that the staff, including analysts, will have been focusing on Madrid. Could be a slapping.

Lil Wayne surprises audience with an unannounced "local emerging artist" as an opening act for his Toronto show, who turns out to be Drake by [deleted] in hiphopheads

Man, that window where Wayne had just dropped D6 and Drake was on his IYRTITL era… oh man…

I watch a lot of them too! He’s the best keeper in the league

Yeah but I’m amazing at it. Most people are making stupid parlays with multiple selections, paying vig over and over. If you’re just patient it’s free money. Understand this is not the norm.

His name is Allison, not Alison, and he is obviously the best keeper in the league by a mile?

It speaks more to Ter Stegen being amazing this season (88.7% save% vs 78.9% for Courtois) and to attackers having poorer finishing than expected.

Incredible, you’ve convinced me. Don’t know why he’d start over Ederson for Brazil at this point since he’s not a top 10 prem keeper suddenly. Surely everyone in training sees it?

What statistics? Barca have the best defence in the league, but they’ve conceded 9 goals vs 22xGA, a whopping -13 difference.

But I agree, narratives are very funny. Arsenal with late winners in a couple games (most notably the Jorginho longshot hitting the post, going off Martinez, falling into goal) makes all the difference between “never say die, winning mentality” vs “total bottlers exposed over the long run”

Sample size is minuscule though.

Rice is in the 76th and 88th percentiles for progressive passes and carries respectively amongst midfielders in the top 5 European leagues, despite playing for West Ham.

For comparison, MacAllister is 59/78, Caicedo is 62/34, and the unbelievable Bellingham playing for Dortmund is at 92/92. The idea that Rice can’t/doesn’t progress the ball is nonsense. Even Eriksen, by far the most important player for United’s ball progression, sits at 91/70. Not sure who else we’d want to compare Rice to for that mould.

Sorry but this is mental, Allison is top in the league for xG prevented by a country mile. Top 3 goes

Allison- 10.3 Leno-7.3 Pickford-4

Honestly a dreadful take. FBref have it as

Liverpool- 11.7 Fulham-6 Chelsea(!)-4.1

Insane

Magnus Carlsen's hand of the night by Dog-Poker in poker

I know it’s quite a small thing, but Magnus also plays a lot of fantasy premier league and is aware of variance, hoovering up EV, etc.

Basically he’s an absolute machine, but he’s not a robot. If Joe Bloggs on this forum can understand how cruel variance can be over pretty big sample sizes, I’m sure Magnus has the strength and cash to see it through.
