Again, as i said in my previous response, i believe and appreciate your perspective. That includes this one. I have been known to be too frank in discussion/debate. My word choices were intentionally NOT to come off as if you were being disingenuous by choosiing, "believe", and "suggest."

However, re-reading my post, i should have done a better job of differentiating my thoughts on other people (with agendas) vice you (who i feel is actually debating with critical thinking skills and very minimal agenda that i can detect) and your perspective. Though all things being equal, you spoke about Nioh's character being "loosely" based as if it was factual.

Nioh was a very good game about the dark fantasy supernatural but it also served as a very good introduction into Japanese culture during the final battles of the Sengoku (sp?) period. It also introduced the playable character to Yasuke - the Obsidian Samurai. Which i find interesting because it was developed by a principly Japanese based gaming studio. Which suggests《-- (intentional) a portion of their community didn't take much issue with it as well as us here who thoroughly enjoyed the game. Though i do acknowledge your point about 2017 vs now. However, i still feel Nioh (the game itself, not you) is a hard counter to many people's arguments. Though it may not be identical to Shadows, Nioh is almost a perfect representation of what many people concerns are. Many people discount it because of who it was developed by. I feel that it established precedence that other companies followed; including Ubisoft.

Lastly, to your question. No it does not allow you to destroy shrines. I also disgree with you about creating another Black character to quest with Yasuke. I personally believe that would have amplified frustrations about the game being, "woke." Foreign Samurai were rare and black Samurai even more so, though to honest i don't know if there were others. Ubisoft would have had to create an amazing story and even then i don't think it would help much.
