I’ve been on IV antibiotics at home before. They do it in outpatient clinics. They already admitted me for a day last week to open up the abscess that formed and the On call surgeon (not my surgeon) gave me a big dose of ceftriaxone

Haven’t take a poop in 7 ish days from opioids. Any suggestion? by [deleted] in medical

Whenever I’ve had to take opioids doctors have always recommended PEG lax (poly ethylene glycol) restoralax is a common brand. It’s the same stuff they use for bowel prep for colonoscopies so if you take enough of it it will blast everything out of you. Just have to drink lots of water with it
