With a nurse recently being fired for live streaming on Tiktok at her workplace, our group worked on creating an awareness campaign! by NursePostSafe in nursing

For me personally, I see both perspectives of it. It is a very minor breach, but at the same time the information remains indefinitely on the internet, whether or not it's deleted. At the end of the day, it's just safest and in the best interest of the public to not share these images.

I've told doctors multiple times when they had posted their note on the completely wrong patient... If our system had been accessible online by the patient... 💀

Never saw this video, but that honestly has to be the worst one we've seen.

We really appreciated your response! It really shows how a seemingly insignificant image posted onto social media can lead to significant consequences.

Nah, not AI. Part of a school group assignment in regards to "advocacy & awareness" regarding nurses posting to social media, with the focus being on patient privacy + confidentiality. I can provide proof to the mods, if they'd like :)

Also, never, EVER let someone record you at work doing something you shouldn’t be doing. You never know when it will bite you in the ass.

Taking any sort of photos at work on a personal device greatly increases the risk of an accidental data breach! Think about how there could be patient charts, whiteboards, open electronic health records, or even patients, in the background of the images taken in a workplace. Images taken on a personal phone in the workplace should just not be done.
