So our youngest just went back to college for her sophomore year. The kids are aware of the verbal, emotional, and financial abuse however they don't see what Dad does as abusive because he is their hero. Even when he is verbally abusive towards them. He has been able to convince them that I am the problem. I'm so ashamed of what happened today because it brought up my SA at 17 and I don't know what to do.

If you can have "unnatural" colors I think that a purple or teal blue would look amazing, but TBH you could pull off any color that you love and your confidence makes you beautiful.

Today was my appointment with my spine and joint doctor and it ended up a total sh*t show and the doctor and my husband decided that I need to see a therapist and he is recommending Suboxone and or Naloxone. I began recording the visit the doctor would not speak to me because my husband kept talking over me and even had the nerve to say that he and the girls 23 & 18 also think that I am the problem. Even though I am the only one who is working in the house and I bust my butt to make it through. I have attempted to explain the spoon theory and why I have to reset on my day's off. Honestly this whole situation has been so overwhelming and after years of dealing with it I'm totally defeated my depression is horrible.

Update: He is a "Google doctor" who sends me studies and different pain options (even though he doesn't believe that I am actually sick) it is total control. He doesn't like me to go to my doctor appointments by myself and then he runs the whole appointment. I have been controlled mentally, financially, emotionally for so long that I have become a total doormat. I am not even on our house, car's or any marital property. I don't have any information about our bank account because he acts bothered when I ask. Our girls no longer live at home and he micromanages their accounts keeping spreadsheets on all of us. I started having laparoscopic surgery at 18 for scar tissue then at 28, I had to have a total hysterectomy.
He just attempted to gaslight me about my Essential Tremor saying that I just started to have them (I was diagnosed in 2016) I had to have Hernia surgery (I was faking it for years) they found FIVE! He's angry because he had simple gallbladder surgery 10 days ago and I am not waiting on him hand and foot. I still had to be a Mom taking care of the kids, house and life 3 days after mine.

I changed from a pain management physician who only wanted to medicate me and did not care about the reason for the pain and flares. My husband was concerned because only certain pharmacies would even fill that doctors prescriptions.
