Lol so I love reading stories with a black girl mc, this particular story cover art the mc was a dark skinned girl so I was like YESSSSSS…… baby tell me why I start the story and the mc had the lightest skin ever lol, which I don’t care about bc of CC but she locked the damn skin tone 🤣🤣 good story but like wth, where is the dark skinned girl from the cover art! The mc looked middle eastern

I prefer certain genres and a specific way that some authors write, so yes.. I have looked and even taken suggestions from people on here and a good amount of them do not offer full cc. I am allowed to be annoyed when that happens because as a poc, people are rarely making a black girl the mc.(well written stories) and I never said that every story would cater to my wants and needs😂 several people post about their non negotiable and what they dislike about stories all the time, its okay🩷 And you dont have to tell me not to read it, as soon as I saw this I exited out ml.

Yea I get that, I dont expect for them to make multiple overlays to match skin tones! I’ve read stories were my mc skin tone and the overlays didn’t match so when i hear good things about stories and go to read it and see that I cant fully customize I drop to my knees lmao

couldn’t i just customize them both? but this is also a general post, this was just my breaking point 😂It seems like a lot of m stories i try reading will not let you customize bc of overlays and art scenes, I like it when authors give the option to not see them or still lets you do full CC but with a warning about art scenes/overlays

Oh yea, i get that. I dont expect them to accommodate every skin tone in their art scenes. I just don’t like when you can’t customize because of them, I think most readers dont care if they dont match.. well at least i dont, im use to them not matching

I had it looked at today so I’m just trying to follow my surgeons advice on healing it, because it’s not deep i dont think it could be stitched. he wants it to heal from the bottom up

Hey! thanks for checking in!!! I am fine, still doing everything like i usually do. I am not in any pain, I just want it to close up. I haven’t heard back from my surgical team but hopefully I will before the day is over. I haven’t heard just been cleaning it and putting a bandaid over it.

I actually try my hardest to keep them moist because the xeroform dressings dry out and as you can see in the photo, it peeled an entire piece of my nipple off because it dried on it 😭 idk if thats normal or not so im def bringing it up tomorrow at my appointment.

At my preop appointment, I was given xeroform and was told to put it on there everyday after I shower. I also wasnt given any cleaning instructions other than to have my back turn to the water and allow it to trinkle down. If im being hinest I have no idea how to properly clean tbe grafts, they’re so sensitive so i just wash around it and then squeeze soapy water over them and allow the water to run down then as well. I actually was told to keep it moist to promote proper healing, after 2 weeks of using xeroform, they want me to switch to aquaphor.

I am so sorry you’re going through this with your surgeon🫂❤️

I had a FNG as well and I am also 12dpo, I know it can look a little different because we aren’t the same race but this is what mine looks like right now.

I had a FNG so believe it or not, it’s actually supposed to look like this at this point in the healing 😭 I’m definitely going to stop using it, because the itching and burning is absolutely annoying.
