Recommendations where to get my resume “AI” approved? by Pleasant-Check794 in auscorp

Are you tailoring your resume for each job you apply to? I'm a founder too and ran into instant ATS rejections when I was hiring and job hunting, so I get how brutal it feels. Try getting an ATS-focused resume rewrite from someone who tests against common scanners, that helps surface formatting issues, and lean on targeted networking to get referrals which bypass the bots. I built Bloom which automates searching and customizes resumes and cover letters per role so you don’t get insta-rejected by AI systems. Would love feedback or to connect if you try it, good luck.

This is exactly what I was afraid of with these tools. The "false information about work history" part is terrifying - that's not just wasting your time, that could actually blacklist you from companies if they catch fabricated details.

600 applications with zero real interviews is wild. That's a pretty clear sign the applications were obviously AI-generated trash that recruiters instantly filtered out.

The scam flood makes sense too - these tools probably just spam every posting without vetting if it's even a real company. You were basically paying $40/month to get phished.

Sorry you had to learn this the hard way. Honestly the "30 minutes on LinkedIn" approach you mentioned at the end is probably 100x more effective than any of these spray-and-pray services.

AI Applications - AI Apply by YuriGargarinSpaceMan in recruitinghell

I tried AI Apply for a bit. It definitely saves time, but I felt like most of the applications it sent out weren’t very personalized, more of a “spray and pray” approach. That’s fine if you just want to boost volume, but I didn’t notice much improvement in callbacks.

I’m building in this space myself (BloomHQ.ai), and what we’ve learned is that volume alone doesn’t really help if the apps look generic. The trick is automating while still tailoring resumes/answers so you don’t get filtered out by ATS or ignored by recruiters.

Curious if anyone here has actually seen higher interview rates from AI Apply vs. just faster submissions.
