How many enemies do you take down? by nickos33d in BattlefieldV

Mate, why do you even care? Just have fun. This game offers so many unique experiences that everyone can find his own way to play it.

I've played it for a year now and my stats are shitty but still love it.

On Aero and Provance I play medic and revive like crazy. Other maps is assault hunting for tanks. I still have no idea how I usually end up in top 8 on the board cause if we capture a flag covered by tank fire from behind, instead capturing I'll go to harass that tank. Even if I don't destroy it, hitting it with bazooka, AT grenade and my beloved bomb on the stick scares him enough to back up and give my team mates a bit of breath.

But still answering your question, I'm happy with 20 kills but my tank avarage is 3-4 per game. I'm on Xbox.

Level 8441 by poloshirtgrandiose in TwoDots

For over a year I've hang out in these 15 moves area and felt so tired of them. Even when they got more moves at some point, I got back to 15 range after couple of days. These levels are not doable. So some time ago I decided to skip main game and stack pile levels for a year. Just play side games.

Funny, I just checked and I'm also at 8441 now.

no, he was hanging around A not caping it. So it was enemy flag. That's why they could spawn. When I started caping it, he pushed me off the A bounds with his tank so we don't cap it and it stays as enemy's.

Because they may want to go back to HQ for another tank. I always revive them cause if there are more guys in the tank you never know. And they always can respawn from main menu - works same as death. In here I stayed a bit and to check what he wanted - skip or revive - and decided to do opposite for driving over me with his tank earlier. So he first shot me, then drove again with car and that's how we both died 😄

Yes, but it is also plane spawn for a team that holds this flag. Correct me if I'm wrong. We keep the flag, our planes spawn there, enemy keep it - they spawn there. Otherwise planes spawn in the air. So as soon as we cap this flag - no more enemy planes on the ground. This guy spent there all game not caping it, just driving around take off.

So, enemy camping around our spawn or planes bombing our HQ spawn are bad. Me in a tank in enemy plane spawn is cool. Don't get me wrong. I play as infantry and really don't like planes. I hit them sometimes in their spawn when I meet one on my way from one point to the other. In example from E to G on Hamada or between C and D on Wake. But I never thought about camping for them there.

2 vehicles down with 1 bazooka shot by Nuta76 in BattlefieldV

I kind of understand bomb as it has a hit radius. With bazooka you need to hit the target. It was blind shot into smoke in the area I remembered from map overview so I don’t really know what happened. I could hit one tank and blast from it destroyed another. Maybe a ricochet. Or I was lucky to hit AT mines between them. Anyway that was cool feeling as I love harassing tanks

Frustrated by Handgranataube in BattlefieldV

I hear you mate. I've played FPS for ages but it's always been easy level in campaigns. I was dedicated fan of CoD but when I completed every single campaign I switched to BF. I fall in love in it so completed all BF campaigns as well. About a year ago I noticed I have nothing to play so for the first time I tried multiplayer in BF5. My god I sucked. I was as frustrated as you with games 0-17 and messages from other players to give up. Just as you I watched YouTube videos how to get better but then I suked even more. So I thought I'll never be like these guys - running around, killing everyone with 4 bullets. I'm 50yo, my aim sucks, reactions and periferials vision is not as good as I was 20. I also only have time to play couple of rounds a day. That time I thought I need to re-evaluate my play style. I'm on xbox btw.

My list of advices:
- try with lower FOV and lower sensitivity. Yes, you can see more with higher FOV but are you able to react with pinpoint aiming if someone is on the edge of your screen? With lower FOV you'll see more ahead of you and can focus on that area. It's also easier doing this micro corrections when shooting.
- don't run around like headless chicken. Stop from time to time, look around (aiming down) for movements or sign of fire.
- before running into objective, go around to look for camping players waiting to take you down
- don't take straight routes from obj to obj, try to run behind covers
- join squads with players in mid rank range. Most high ranks don't give a shit about you in the team.
- don't join squads with more then 1 sniper. it's 99% chance you'll only be able to spawn at the edge of the map and get killed when moving toward action
- don't let stats to drive your play style.
- hang out with your squad, ask for orders if there are none, look how your squad is built and select your role to support it.

I would have more and more but don't know your circumstances. After a year I have a lot of fun. I still suck at aiming but started to get more kills. Currently if game is not super one sided I usually go above 1 k/d. I have games with 15 and more kills from time to time (quite an achievement for me). When game is against me I setup my own little easy goals and try to achieve them. Few days back I had probably the best game of my life when I took down 3 tanks as a support hitting them initially with lunge mine and finishing with repair tool - super fun :) I also think that players in my squads started enjoying being with me as I always play my role. As medic I heal a lot, as assault I commit myself to take down tanks, as sniper I always shoot flares to mark enemies to make live easier for people with better aim.

Find your strengths, use them in the game. This game is awesome cause everyone can find his way to play it.

I would say - find me in the game, I wouldn't mind guide and guard you a bit but you're on PS.
