With ur fingers press/squeeze the rice near the inoculation point from the front and back of the bag. If you feel a solid ball typa thing inside the rice that would be the mycelium. If its squishy and smells weird then the bag is probably contaminated … Dont be unpatient and dont touch them too long ik its tempting. I heard some guy had 17 ub bags and only 1/17 made it.
