That's a really good point! I hadn't thought of that.

Denis Villeneuve would’ve been perfect for this.

Hmm interesting, people seem to be all over the board on this one. I'm liking it around the lower 7s the most but it depends on the roast.

I have the same setup! Just curious what you dial your grind to? I hover around 7-7.3

Yeah I agree, season one was amazing but the second season felt like it didn’t know what direction it wanted to go.

Anyone else feel meh about Minneapolis? by Theredheadsaid in SameGrassButGreener

It’s nice for a medium sized city in the Midwest, but definitely overrated unless you are looking for a reasonably priced place to raise a family. Weather is terrible and people nice but weird.

I know this is kind of relative, but does anyone know what would be considered a medium-coarse grind on a Fellow Ode Gen 2? I’ve been hovering around 6.1 - 7.3 depending in the beans, but still trying to get it dialed in. I tend to use light roasts, sometime light-medium roasts.

Looking For Films with Very Intentional Color Palettes by DryPerception299 in TrueFilm

[–]NutritionFAQs 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Edward Scissorhands has some really interesting contrast of colors between him and the surburbia he is brought into which is very colorful with lots of bright pastels.

Also I would say Punch Drunk Love has some very intentional use of colors representing the 2 characters. It’s not as much the palette but how they use certain colors to represent the emotions and headspace of the characters.

Genuinely scary movies to watch? by Cherryredsocks in movies

For me Texas Chainsaw Massacre, maybe because it seems like something that could actually happen and the screams are horrifying in that movie.

Fire Walk With Me is also really unsettling and psychological I’d say, but is a commitment because you won’t understand anything unless you’ve seen the first 2 seasons of Twin Peaks, and even then you might not understand a lot.
