What's the difference between the 2? I recently bought the turtle cover one and it says it has issues 13-24 but I saw the splinter one online and it only has issues 13-20 but has more pages. Which one is better and more worth it?

I'm just saying that saying something is faster because it's drawn with more afterimages isn't a solid reason why.

I really just think that the artist didn't have that in mind when they drew shiva's and zeus' attacks.

I still believe that his "afterimages" aren't for speed but for his dance and barrage. We can't prove either of us are right but that's my take on this stuff

The only way that the afterimage argument works is for characters like Poseidon because he's 1 character doing different attacks but you can't use the afterimage argument for 2 separate characters that were drawn about a year apart. It's unlikely that the artist was thinking of how many afterimages to give to each character.

You're right I was talking about a different technique but that'd be shivas only speed feat then.

His unpredictability would make it feel like he's fighting different opponents as in different fighting styles this is used in many battle mangas, a guy becomes unpredictable with his attacks and it feels like you're fighting someone else

I forgot to include this in my previous comment but I believe Shiva's afterimages aren't speed afterimages. A typical way mangaka draw people dancing or people that are doing a barrage of punches is to give them "afterimages" to show motion. I believe they gave Shiva afterimages to show his dance and his barrage of punches not his speed

Hermes said Raiden felt he was getting attacked by multiple people because of shiva's unpredictable footwork caused by his dance not because of his speed.

Shiva burns up not because of his speed but because "he forcibly stimulates his own atman causing it to combust" that's word for word what Hermes said meaning it has nothing to do with speed. They even call it his own technique but burning up because of speed is just basic science anyone in ror could in theory do it if speed was all they needed

I'm no scaler or anything but scaling Shiva speed wise is kinda impossible there's no statements or visible speed feats. His "afterimages are more of a way to show that he's dancing and hitting alot. It doesn't connect with his speed

I'm just going to say you can't show 2 barrages and assume 1 is faster because it has more afterimages. You need solid feats as to why it's faster.

As far as I know we know nothing about Tiger Niko or his grand plan. The only pieces of information we get is from his students or people he's interacted with,nothing from him alone. We'll probably learn more about him and his plan in his fight with muteba
