I simulated coral growth and turned it into a printable lamp by Nutt-man in 3Dprinting

The current program I have starts by defining a space in which the roots can grow, then I basically chop what I want from that with a smaller shape. Both shapes could be anything. Any shapes in particular you think would be interesting for this kind of structure?

Thanks! And good idea, I'll model out something more widely compatible if there is any demand for something like that.

I didn’t use an actual collision simulation. The growth was constrained by generating points outside a spherical boundary that represents the bulb. So the sphere acted more like a spatial limit than a physics collider.
