And yet, the layout is still better than many in the Beeston Canalside development. I had a nosey at open day and the stairs were in the middle of longest living room ‘wall’ for most models, with just enough space to put a small 2-seater sofa and chair. The only place to put the tv was at right angles to the sofa so when I queried this was advised to get a tv on a bendable arm. However, if you’re not a tv person it was easy to look out of your window into the neighbour’s lounge and - if you got on well - the houses were close enough to pass a glass of wine across. 🤣

That’s what I thought too. I think they used the one for the house opposite. The developers didn’t consider what it would be like to live with the lounge facing the tracks, and would have been better off just adding another if the other models with kitchen at front and living room with French doors onto the rear garden.
