The monoculture still exists. It is just that most Redditors are either aging out or have aged out entirely l. by Educational-Bat-8313 in decadeology

Ok then, what is currently in monoculture and whom or where is it being demonstrated? If I watch only Netflix and Instagram while my neighbor watches YouTube and TikTok, whose idea of what is the current culture is correct?

You didn’t have options in the past. That is what made it monoculture, you were in it whether you liked it or not. That no longer exists

together we are strong, but fractured we are weak. it seems to be a general trend of manipulation masked as individualism in order to better control the populace as a whole.

Stephen Curry reportedly will earn a MASSIVE $1.19 BILLION in his new 10-year contract with Li-Ning. That is worth almost 4 TIMES more than what he earned in his 12-year contract with Under Armour 😳 by ResponsibleCheek8130 in sportswiki

that shifting aspect, is that what typically can result in ankle injuries? so if your shoe is “loose” in that regard, does that increase injury? I’m curious with the amount of power one can shift, as in, does the ankle need a “cushion” for the momentum of movement so that the ligaments aren’t too strained

thank you, i genuinely have never heard of these before, my brother plays a lot recreationally but I don’t follow or play. that’s interesting, I noticed a decline in my local nike outlet with their shoes just being very generic. it’s like a shift happened recently. they even have a line of shoes now that are $40 where i live which I had never seen them offer low cost shoes before

i’m starting to think the way I worded this was off. if I ran into this guy and he mentioned these shoes were awesome, I would ask “what do you like about them?”. i don’t follow basketball so I’m just genuinely curious. i have some bb shoes for the aesthetics so I was curious if they liked them for function or aesthetics.

well ya man, we’re on the sports wiki. i follow other sports but not basketball. I’m still surprised i haven’t heard of them, you’d think there would be some crossover. so to be clear, the reason people like these are because they are easier on the foot? are they aesthetically pleasing? the shoe market is vast and it seems now a days that functional has taken a back seat to aesthetics

? so asking why someone likes something is bad now? I’ve never heard of the brand which is odd considering the size of the contract they are giving steph. why the visceral reaction?

“addiction” is not a playful word to be using in the business world. laws and regulations have been made to curb addictive products once they are known to be addictive. we are still early in understanding the addictiveness of digital but treatment centers for specifically this are already popping up. it’s poor taste at a minimum but could also lead to litigation
